We had to fill out paperwork and answer a million questions without even seeing a vehicle. I didn’t even care about a test drive, I just wanted to look inside one. Anyway, we played along. Finally, they pull up “the last one on the lot” and we look inside. I realized then I had wasted the last 30 minutes as I was unimpressed but went for a drive anyway. Upon arrival back at the lot we go back inside and they are eager to talk numbers. When I finally stop the very nice salesman and tell him I’m not interested he asks the expected questions. He then tells us we have to talk to his manager. A few minutes later the manager comes over and asks what we thought. When I told him I did not like the vehicle he could not believe why because “it’s the best selling SUV in Canada” (ummm...no it isn’t by the way). They did not like being told that I felt t was a step down in technology and features from my 2015 Acadia. Every objection I had was met with this vehicle being the best and the most affordable. He even went so far as to tell me I was wasting my money to spend the extra (which according to sticker is about $10000 difference) on the upgraded version of what I am currently driving. When I rejected every offer he turned to asking about Fords. Again, I was not interested in what they were offering including a vehicle that doesn’t have the 3rd row I was looking for. The icing on the cake was offering a used vehicle only 2 years newer than what I have. When I rejected that, he put his hands up and shooed us out. Not only will I NEVER set foot in that dealership again, I also will not be dealing with the Prince Albert Ford dealer because it is the same management. It was exactly like going to a timeshare presentation but I didn’t get a free excursion or show ticket lol. Very disappointed. More
worst dealer ever We live 4 hours away and found a used veracruz. So we called and made arrangements to for a local to test drive the car. It seemed ok. I knew when buy We live 4 hours away and found a used veracruz. So we called and made arrangements to for a local to test drive the car. It seemed ok. I knew when buying there would be no warranty as it had just over 120K kms. We called again and asked if there were 2 sets of keys. They assured us there was a second set. So we agreed on a price and We drove to Prince Albert on the weekend. They were nice enough to stay open late on a Saturday and let us test drive the car. We were cutting the cheque and asked about the second set of keys. They told us that are looking for the second set but when we pick up the car on Monday they will be there. Monday came and there is no set. They made us pay for them stating that the price of the car was already so low that they wont include them. Turns out this car is a lemon and there were recalls that they didn't do before that sale when they did their work on the car. So disappointed. They gave us key fobs and told us to look online to program them. Turned out on a veracruz it has to be done at the dealer. And the fobs given were for a completely different type of Hyundai. 2 years later this car is still nothing but grief. The local dealer is hard to get a hold of no one answers a phone. They told us all recalls have been done. The valve covers leak oil all over the alternator and A/C. engine design flaw look on youtube, Transport Canada Recall # 2014297. Local dealer sent us an estimate for this repair. So disappointed. More

I purchased new wipers for my vehicle (which is only a year old) and they were very crappy. Only the passenger side has been good. So my first thought is, when purchasing a brand new vehicle, you would assume the wipers would be good quality. I learnt this the hard way, sucked it up and bought what I thought were better ones from the dealership. I have had issues since, only on the driver side. I was basically told today they will not replace because of our weather. Which means to me they are selling a low quality brand for a big price. Before buying my vehicle, i drove an old 95 tercel and maybe replaced my wipers twice at the most! I have never had this issue before and felt today that I was told I dont clean them properly. It was offensive and I have lost trust not only in Hyundia accessories or parts but also in the staff. Why was I encouraged to buy these wipers if they dont work? I was also told to come in on my lunch break and they would take a look. When getting there no one looked, I was just told a big fat no, I would have to pay. I tried explaining that the rubber itself is like bubbled in one spot and not straight, not that I had banged it too hard etc still no one took a look. Nothing mattered. I am stuck having to buy a new driver side wiper because it was defective from the get go. I will go to my trusty canadian tire store. More
