I was given a vehicle with a transmission recall (W12) that can cause my vehicle to catch fire and was also treated in really rude manner by Clint, and the only thing he could tell me is we are not making money selling you a vehicle at this price. Well you quoted me, maybe you should of just told me that you could not sell me a vehicle at this price. Other dealership would of sold me one as multiple dealer had the same offer, but to me Jake seamed to be a good guy to deal with. As he was the most straight forward to deal with from the get go. I was quoted 64 465 plus GST No fees (for me this should be 67 688.25 and I can walk away) but I ended up paying 68566.91. I know its not a big difference but on principal alone. They are the reason why dealerships have a bad reputation. I never agreed to have the price of the vehicle increased from 64 465 to 64 752 (before GST) I asked Jake what was my final pay out and it was higher. He send me a computer screen shot so I can only see my down payment and the final amount to be paid. This is when dishonesty come in to play. I know silly me for not asking to see the full detailed number on my Jeep Gladiator Rubicon that I waited 15 weeks for. This below is what I kinda agreed to (not by having choice according to Jake. (Text from him below) There are no additional fees, there still has to be $6.25 amvic, $20 tire tax and $499 doc/admin fee. Those are all federal and non negotiable So for me all the above chargers are fees. Still not happy about paying them. But I don't want to break federal laws. It's just pitiful really. 287$ in the difference that they over charged me. That's just flat out dishonest. I asked for my final pay out so I could go to the bank for a check. (A check that I would of gladly got changed to the correct amount to save 287$) I am also still looking for clarification on what "No Fee" meant on the quote that they provided me. Must be some kinda Unicorn. To add salt to injury. As my vehicle was getting ready at a detailing shop, I was purchasing my Gladiator without seeing it so I can go pick it up my self from the detailing shop so I can inspect their work and pay them. I returned to the dealer right after leaving the detailing shop to go get my second key fob and owner manual that they forgot to give me. They never cleaned my vehicle inside before nor did they never offered to clean the inside after I picked it up. I was rushing them when they received it to get it to the detailing shop ASAP. But if they would of said come after and will clean it for you, I would of agreed right of way. They never gave me the little talk on how to safely operate my Jeep. (A service that I payed for even if I knew how already and could of figured it out). I really missed having a Jeep and Jake knew how excited and important it was to me getting my Gladiator that I waited 15 weeks for and sold my previous car in december. It was a long painful wait let me tell you. I texted him very faithfully every week after like the 5th week for updates. I love my Jeep. Just wish I would of bought is somewhere else. More
