Horrible experience. Lying, unprofessional, scummy tactics Talked to JP - Salesperson and Adam - Sales Manager about an Elantra Hybrid. Negotiated a good deal. Then after putting my deposit down 30-45min later Ryan calls me saying someone else in house put a deposit ahead of me. I am a bit disappointed but tell them to keep deposit in case the deal doesn't go through. Next day my friend phones and inquires if any Elantra Hybrids are available. After talking to Thomas and confirming multiple times it is available. My friend is present with a horrible deal. A lot over asking price with addons. Inquiring if they could be lowered my friend talks to Ryan - other sales manager to confirm it is available and price could not be lowered. The same day I talked to Ryan earlier confirming it is not available and that the person was approved. After this I talk to Adam to initially relay it was a pleasure to talk to him two days ago and was unfortunate that the car was unavailable. He confirms and I confront him noting that Ryan and him and Rivercity are letting me know it is not available for me and they have a buyer. YET it is available to purchase. Obvious tactic that I got myself a good deal (Still paying over MSRP + with addons) but a decent deal. And they did not want to sell to me since they could make more money by selling to another person with a higher price and less addons. They tried to backtrack saying it was always a backup deal but have multiple confirmations from Ryan and Thomas via phone and texts saying IT IS AVAILABLE. This was over 3 days from when Ryan told me it was unavailable. So no excuse saying no one knew since it was confirmed on separate occasions. I even told them upfront on my first chat with JP and Adam that they should sell it to someone else if they want a better profit but Adam insisted on building a good relationship with the dealership and I was willing to go to them for all the service. But now they consistently lie to me regarding the availability of the vehicle and continue to disrespect and waste my time. JP's vague responses, non-response to confirmations about availability and Thomas's, Ryan's, and Adam's confirmations make it all apparently the tactics they use. Planned to always service my vehicles, let other knows about great dealership. But never buying or servicing my car here again. Letting everyone I know how dirty their tactics are. More

Typical dealership all about the sale and NO service afterwards. I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Palisade fall of 2021 and a few months into winter I noticed that the chrome accents and grill started showin afterwards. I purchased a 2022 Hyundai Palisade fall of 2021 and a few months into winter I noticed that the chrome accents and grill started showing discoloration and almost like surface rust. I brought my vehicle back to River City Hyundai service department and got absolutely NO help and was told it's normal and I need to use a polishing compound! I told the service writer you shouldn't have to use a polishing compound on a vehicle that has just over 5000 km and is garage kept. She informed me that this happens on a few of there Hyundai vehicles and there is nothing they can do about it . What a joke ! They got the service manager to come out and he wouldn't even come and talk to me . He stood on the other side of the service bay talking to the service writer that I just finished talking to. Another lady came and took pictures and this lady informed me not to get my hopes up cause Hyundai doesn't and won't fix this problem they are aware of ! If you put out a faulty product you fix it ! This is my first Hyundai vehicle and it will be my last . Needless to say I never heard anything back from River City Hyundai. Don't buy your vehicle here you won't get service from them . More
Took my car in for service. The automated car wash damaged the driver's side of my car I did not notice the damage until I washed it again. I did ask for the service manager but was give to someone else. I have used this dealership for years and my daughter is a customer to I will not be coming back. They need to fix their mistake. I never take my car to an automated car wash because of this type of damage. I only use a wand car wash and the damage is obviously from an automated car wash brush. More
Rowan is a liar promised us that they would get us out of the journey which we did not want in the first place after 12 months !!!! We literally have a letter signed by them and did everything it said gve us the journey which we did not want in the first place after 12 months !!!! We literally have a letter signed by them and did everything it said gve us the run around all week just to have someone else call today saying we have new things on our credit which we don't. They are not people of thier word and they also pulled our credit 2x without permission and we had to call as ask if it was him. And don't here come saying anything bout the stipulations on that letter cause nothing you said was a condition FYI and I will post it if I have to. Told us this journey was a terrible car and promised us it would only be for the year. Paid our payments no deferrals no nothing. Don't believe anything he says he absolutely terrible and a liar lied the whole xxxx time knowing very well he was screwing us over... did the same thing with the warranty and we had to argue about that to . Might as well be another shady dealership screwing customers over. You deserve 0 stars More
Keep being disappointed with the customer service at this place. Very sad as it used to be one of the best dealerships that I've been to. Never use this business. We had a appointment booked with Mo to trade in 2 of our units for a unit they had. Took time off work and traveled in from out of town, to find out it was sold 2 days ago. Very pissed off with the service, business ethics, all it would have taken was a simple phone call. I will never use this company or suggest someone to go there. They felt it was not a big deal and wanted to try and sell us another unit, what a joke of employee and business ethics. Once again, NEVER recommend to anyone to do business there. More
