We went to the Jeep dealer to have warranty claim submitted for paint defects (some mentioned shortly after buying and documented) others surrounding the hinges / corrosion issues which are well known and documented with Jeep Wrangler JL models. 5 weeks passed and the claim was not submitted, despite multiple follow ups, we were always responded with "we're busy, short staffed, not yet". We took the Jeep to another dealer who had us take it to their body shop for photos and an estimate, and the claim was submitted the same day. 5 weeks for a warranty claim, something isn't right, no matter how busy they were. We won't be back at Reliable, despite other issues, this was the last straw. More

This failure occurred despite the fact that I was meticulous about keeping the truck serviced. I only ever used Mobil1 synthetic oil. Despite the service advisor Jackson, repeatedly telling me that Ronnie Martin the Sales Manager would call me, he never did. I can only assume that he was either too cowardly or just couldn’t be bothered. I knew that the truck was out of warranty and was not looking for something for nothing but I thought that they might want to do the work at a reduced rate to salvage the customer relationship and possibly sell me another vehicle in the future. Instead they wanted $2500 over cost to just order in the long block that I needed to purchase to get my truck back on the road. Instead I took it to Summerside Chrysler where they treated me with dignity and respect. In the end I spent more than $7000 to get my truck running. Summerside did the job within a week and called me several times over the week to keep me up to date on the progress. I dealt directly with the owner Warren and the service manager Allan at Summerside Chrysler. Everything was handled professionally. It was the polar opposite of how I was treated at Reliable. If you value your money and expect to be treated honestly and fairly, avoid Reliable Motors! More
