Awful customer service I am throughly disappointed with toyota customer service. When I was looking at.purchasing a vehicle they were very accommodating. As soon as I bought I am throughly disappointed with toyota customer service. When I was looking at.purchasing a vehicle they were very accommodating. As soon as I bought the far they have started treating me like I'm worthless. Never told me there was a shuttle service so I had to wait 40 minutes for a ride from the dealership. Told me my car would be ready on a Wednesday and I had to fight tooth and nail to have it on Thursday and not everything was complete (3mm application and undercoat). Had to bring it back after the weekend on a Monday evening and it's ready Tuesday morning tell me why if it was that quick it couldn't have been done on Thursday. Told them I wouldn't be able to pick it up till after close due to work and asked if they could park it outside and lock the keys in it as I have a spare set. Get a ride all the way there and it's locked in the garage still ( I know this because I sounded my car alarm looking for it). The man reassured me he would leave it outside and was doing it right now.I am beyond frustrated with this dealership and wished I never would have purchased anything from them as everyone there is completely useless and had awful customer service. I managed to wrangle a fairly good deal on a used Corolla by aggressively holding firm on my price. The horrors came at the time of signing the sales contract, where they tried to get me to sign up for some absurdly overpriced add-ons, such as upholstery-guard, undercoating and nitrogen in the tires (for $300). When I declined, the salesman told me that it would "pay for itself in 3 months." Such a bold-faced lie! Another offer was extra insurance, which I also declined, but the salesman, said he was "going to sign me up anyway, because it's such a good idea." I relented on this one, probably because I thought it might help me out if I had a warranty claim with them. Overall a thoroughly horrible experience, and I hope this review is helpful either to either get Red Deer Toyota to abandon their Trump-like exploitational style, or at least to warn other customers away from this trap. No respect for owners vehicle while servicing Vehicle brought in for service. When picked up there was grease and dirt on floor mats, door sill, steering column and door handle. Service manager Vehicle brought in for service. When picked up there was grease and dirt on floor mats, door sill, steering column and door handle. Service manager did respond to email and offer to pick up and clean vehicle 4 days later (after long weekend) but I had already cleaned it. Should never have happened in first place. Wish I had read earlier review as customers previous to me had same problems. Previous dealings with staff when trying to purchase vehicle did not go well and I bought the Highlander elsewhere. This was final straw, I will not be back. More

This place is a mess I bought a used vehicle that was originally from the U.S. I wanted to buy a Toyota platinum extended warranty for it but couldn't buy a Toyota Canada I bought a used vehicle that was originally from the U.S. I wanted to buy a Toyota platinum extended warranty for it but couldn't buy a Toyota Canada one. So I bought it from Toyota U.S. Well, it's supposed to be honored in Canada but apparently not with this service department. Recently they looked into a problem only to say they would check with the warranty coverage and then didn't call back. Even after repeated calls and once speaking with the service manager I got no response. So I drove it to Wetaskiwin Toyota and got it looked after with no problem. They gave me a loaner Venza for the day and I spent it in Edmonton. Now I take it to Wetaskiwin for all my service. I will avoid the service department at Red Deer Toyota. My first experience here was a year and a half ago when I took it in for an oil change and got it back filthy on the inside. When I talked to the service manager about it he was visibly annoyed that I would even bring it up and was very unprofessional. Lastly, although the people at the parts counter are friendly enough they have not called me back a single time when I have ordered accessories. More
absolutely NO customer service. I have been a toyota owner for over 25 years, between my former husband and I we had 4 toyotas in that time that we loved. Red Deer Toyota has put a I have been a toyota owner for over 25 years, between my former husband and I we had 4 toyotas in that time that we loved. Red Deer Toyota has put an end to that last fall. I had my vehicle scheduled in for service and brought it in for the 7:30 doors opening time to ensure I'd get on the shuttle (7 person van) to get back to town to ensure I'd make it to a course I was booked in to attend. I got there 7:40, traffic slow that morning as we'd just got a tremendous dump of snow the day prior. On getting there I handed my key and asked about the shuttle as I did not see it outside where it should be. I was told it had already left for town. Left? The doors were only open 10 minutes? I ended up waiting 40 minutes for the shuttle to return to get me to town and found that the shuttle driver had left with only TWO people in the 7 passenger van. I was quite anxious as I was fearing not making it to my booked appointment in town. As it went, I did not get back in time and had to rebook the course. At the end of the day when I went to get my vehicle I was then told that now it needed all 4 struts replaced. (the maintenance was a regular maintenance, but they did manage to find other 'minor' issues making the bill for the day quite a significant one already and then tell me I needed struts). I was going to book the appointment but I made a request to perhaps have a loaner vehicle set aside so I'd not be at the mercy of a shuttle driver that takes off in under 10 min of door opening with merely 2 people aboard. I was told I could not use a loaner as they are for people whose vehicles are not drivable and mine would still be drivable. I asked then if perhaps the way the shuttle operates could be looked into to better serve the customers. I was told maybe I should try to get in on time. REALLY??? The doors open at 7:30 and with severe snow I was in for 7:40... I don't know about everyone but I really don't think that is a tardy arrival time given the road conditions??!!! The woman at the booking desk was totally unhelpful and so I requested speaking to a manager. She would not get me a manager. In the end there was no attempt to please the customer (myself) with regards to transportation back to town and no apology for leaving me stranded in the morning with a 40 minute wait for the shuttle to come back. As well, the struts - well I did not book them in and had them looked at by another party and was told they did NOT need replacing. So.... there you have it, they were going to take advantage of my lack in mechanical skills to get me to pay for a pricey fix that was not even needed!!! I did follow up with a call to the service manager, but, he did nothing at all to amend this situation stating that his staff did act appropriately. I am selling my Toyota and I am never every buying Toyota again, as I want to own a vehicle where customer service matters. Customer services doesn't matter one little bit to these fools. More
Worst Dealer Ever Nothing good to say, please save yourself the time as this dealership will do nothing but give you the run around and waste your time. Country Hills T Nothing good to say, please save yourself the time as this dealership will do nothing but give you the run around and waste your time. Country Hills Toyota in Calgary isn't far. Worth the drive! I feel bad for the sales guys because it is clearly the management team that is horrible. Talk to the so called General Manager, Doug, Wow! He walks around with his hands in his pockets looking like a lost child looking for his mom. More
