Guaranteed to be the worst deal of your life. I had over $30,000 of repairs arise on my vehicle within 6 months of driving. I’m currently unemployed because the truck I specifically bought to work with has not been able to be repaired. I phoned the dealer about this many time, all they said finally was they were glad I was running out of money, and that that was possibly a way to get rid of the problem I was causing for them by pursuing a fix or exchange of my truck for another truck. So far, issues include needing a new engine, a new transmission, wheel ends, catalytic convertor, starter motor, tires, the list goes on. And this dealer was excited to get rid of the problem, after I explained I had just lost my family to unexpected death, the sales person who sold me the truck said I could pay off the owing fee for my truck with the inheritance I got. He said i wasn’t contributing enough money otherwise to have my problem resolved there. I have been unable to afford not working and trying to get my truck repaired and live anywhere with heat. So on top of the breakdowns I’m constantly experiencing and the overwhelming grief that comes from losing your family suddenly, I am living in subzero temperatures. On July 14 I purchased a 2024 F350 from PG Ford. Drove from Williams Lake to pick it up. Made the deal with Dave Sacchetti two weeks prior. The truck was very nice but once we had made the deal and on our way off the lot we could immediately hear a noise in the front end. Returning to the dealer with the $100K+ truck was when I discovered Dave's true character. He was my good friend before the deal but now upon our return had no time to help us , he was more interested in making another deal with new people then even talking time to talk to us. A helpful tech came for a ride and confirmed there was a problem in the front end. Upon returning Dave still had no time to come over and try to help us out with the problem. Kevin Anderson (sales manager) came to talk to us. Asked what we would like to do. I told him they can keep the truck and fix it themselves. Cheryl Engel (finance) was excellent to deal with and helped the situation immensely. She did more for us there then anyone else. Kevin did fill the tank of my 2020 F350 to help make up for a very frustrating waste of an entire Sat. But that being said I feel like this problem with the brand new truck should have been caught by the dealership before it was sold. Truck has 25 kms on it and I drove it 500 feet and heard the problem. So as for dealing with Dave , he'll be you best friend until there's problem then your just another number for him. More
