I recently purchased a pre-owned Mercedes GL350 from Precision Hyundai and I found the experience to be exceptional. Their facility at the Glenmore Auto Mall is a top tier operation. Pre-owned Sales Man Precision Hyundai and I found the experience to be exceptional. Their facility at the Glenmore Auto Mall is a top tier operation. Pre-owned Sales Manager Omar Taha has sold us several vehicles and we find him to be very professional and efficient to work with. He was able to find us this vehicle after several years of looking. From the test drives to the final negotiations, my wife and I were very comfortable dealing with him. The admin staff was also extremely helpful with registration and the after market warranty - we experienced a VIP service level from their whole team. I would also recommend Precision's service department to anyone as we have found Sean Robinson and his staff to be knowledgeable, honest and extremely dedicated to high quality customer service. Bravo Precision Hyundai, you guys are a refreshing highlight in what can easily be a logistical challenge for a busy family. More
We set up an appointment to do a test drive on a Jeep Grand Cherokee at Precision Hyundia with Chris. What a BIG Mistake setting up an appointment was!!! They knew the exact time we would be there and wh Grand Cherokee at Precision Hyundia with Chris. What a BIG Mistake setting up an appointment was!!! They knew the exact time we would be there and what vehicle we were coming to look at. They have this pressure scam thing that they appear to like doing. They tried their hand at acting but would not recieve a Oscar in our books. When we arrived we went into the building. The feelings of the term "slimy salesman" washed over me. At first I wasn't sure why but by the time we walked out of there I knew exactly why. When we arrived we were told that Chris was busy at the moment with a lady that was interested in the same vehicle as us. They had about 5 others salesmen there that weren't doing anything so I'm not sure why one of them wasn't dealing with her seems how Chris knew we were coming. To us it was funny that Chris was the only one busy. We had to wait about 10 minutes for him. Finally we go on the test drive. It took about 10 minutes. That was the only good experience we had at this place. We get back from our test drive with Chris and wouldn't you know it, the husband of the lady I spoke about earlier was now all of a sudden at the dealership. The wife had already left and then the husband shows up 10 minutes later. I don't know what couple goes to look at vehicles at different lots 10 minutes apart. Usually they look together. Oh yes and I might add that this husband looked like one of the salesman there himself. Now comes another horrible acting performance by all of the salesmen as they tried to inform Chris that the husband was here. They tried to pretend that they were telling him secretively but yet loud enough for us to hear so we would feel pressured to commit. Chris our salesman apologized for what had happened but it just all seemed so scripted. Then to top it all off instead of the salesman talking with the husband in one of the offices he decides to do it right outside the office we were in. Me and my husband assume that this scam must work on some people. They almost had us. We did feel the pressure to buy before someone else got the vehicle. But thank goodness for Omar, he really helped us to make our decision and walk before it was to late. This is where we start dealing with Omar. We both know that our vehicle isn't brand new and didn't expect a brand new price for it. I'm sorry but how can you appraise a vehicle without even going out and looking at it, peering out the office window doesn't count. Omar starts off by telling us that our vehicle is really not worth much but then all of a sudden he goes "oh I thought it was a Denali but it's just an Envoy that means it's worth even less". Denali is a finishing package on a vehicle not an actual vehicle itself. That's the vehicle savvy kind of person I want appraising my vehicle. He was just so full of himself and tried to talk down to us. He had about 5 minutes of our time and we were out of there for good. Thank you Omar and the rest of the staff for helping us not make a huge mistake and purchase from your dealership. All I can say is that I feel for the poor janitors that have to clean up the slime from these salesmen at the end of the day. More

My 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe, still under warranty, had different mechanical/whining noises while driving or coasting. Even though the service adviser heard the noise during the test drive, the problem was different mechanical/whining noises while driving or coasting. Even though the service adviser heard the noise during the test drive, the problem was not found and nothing was done. The ignition switch had an intermittent problem - cannot lock the doors with the key outside the car as though the key was still in the ignition lock. Again, the problem could not be found and the lock lubricated with a charge of $24.95 even though the service adviser stated that he had seen the problem before and the lock needs to be replaced. A month later, I brought the car to Hyundai Gallery and they replaced the engine oil pump and put in a new ignition switch under warranty and the problems went away. I contacted Hyundai Canada about this issue with Precision Hyundai and the response is that all Hyundai Dealers are independent businesses and it is up to the dealership to charge for diagnosis. So don't expect Hyundai Canada to intervene if there is a warranty issue. I just bought a 2013 Toyota Venza instead of a 2014 Hyundai Sante Fe even though the Toyota costs more. Another item to watch out for when dealing with Precision Hyundai is the fluid changes. At 48,000km you will be told that the anti-freeze and transmission fluid need to be changed. I insisted that these fluids be tested before the replacement. The fluid tests show that the anti-freeze was to the original specs - pH, concentration, colour and the transmission fluid is like new. So ask for the fluid test before replacement and save yourself a pile of money and the environment. More
My wife has been looking for a Hyundai Tucson. She talked with a sales person and setup a test drive appointment. We did test drive 2 different Tucsons and our sales person was friendly in a sales person way with a sales person and setup a test drive appointment. We did test drive 2 different Tucsons and our sales person was friendly in a sales person way but helpful and knowledgeable. Then it came time to talk about what we were look at for a price. This vehicle is for my wife. She is a novice at negotiating for car pricing but other dealers have treated her with respect and have been very helpful. So she started out. The sales person said he had to get his manager to talk about pricing. Fair enough. In walks a person that is is dressed in a sloppy t-shirt (may have been a tank top) and shorts or jeans. Apperance does not really matter to either of us but when he started to speak ... He basically said he won't talk about any pricing unless she comitted to buy one of the vehicles or it was a waste of time. He noticed we had a list of other sales quotes and asked to see them. My wife pointed out one that was comperable but one step down from what we had just tested. He told her gruffly to go buy the other Tucson at the other dealer and that dealer was bad at their job. She continued to try to find some starting point. He insinuated we continued to waste his time, we shook hands and he stomped out. We just sat their and stared at the sales person. He said if he could do anything else for us - here is his card. I found that funny. So we took the card and left. WOW. Sad thing is she did like one of the vehicles she drove. As I understand it - Dealer put price that is too high - we counter with a lower price - we meet somewhere in between -everyone is happy. If their prices are fixed, they should let you know that and thats fine. I don't know if we would have bought there but the manager made sure we did not. More
I recently bought a Santa Fe from Precision Hyundai and I can say the entire experience was extremely positive. My sales person, Clayton Spence, was informative, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He was very pat can say the entire experience was extremely positive. My sales person, Clayton Spence, was informative, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He was very patient and allowed me to work through the process at my pace. I would have liked to have received more for my trade, but who wouldn't? I dealt with the sales manager, Joseph, who was also friendly and informative. I had to take the vehicle back in to have a remote started installed. The service department was great. My only compliant there was they moved my seat and changed my radio station. Not really a big deal, but I would have preferred they hadn't done that. As a further note, I love my 2013 Santa Fe. I was hesitant about the Hyundai name (Clayton helped to ease that worry), but so far the vehicle has been top notch. Compared to other vehicles, it is the best buy for your buck and Precision has done a great job for me. More
I took my car in for a emergency brake recall issue and when I got my car back they had not bled the system, leaving me with a brake pedal that goes almost to the floor before my brakes engage. Terrible o when I got my car back they had not bled the system, leaving me with a brake pedal that goes almost to the floor before my brakes engage. Terrible oversight on there part. More
When was the last time you have had an appraisle done on your vehicle? Omar is so talented he can appraise a vehicle in under 2 minutes on the phone without any info from a car? Ironically, I work in your vehicle? Omar is so talented he can appraise a vehicle in under 2 minutes on the phone without any info from a car? Ironically, I work in sales of vehicles as well.. Good dearships give fair appraisels and have the respect of their customers. Given the dealership could make a doller on a sale. Omar expects everone to lay down for his sales. Omar thinks your buying the sales guy and not the car. Omar thinks he knows something about cars.. In the business, guys like Omar are usually some dim whitted sales guy who thinks he sells vehicles.. thinks he has a respectable job (I have more respect for Future Shop sales staff).. and is usually promoted by a General Manager who's daddy gave the dealership to him.. Keeping the 1950's way of selling cars.. Once your through the door .. you obviously need a vehicle.. get the deposit and Finance.. The car? who cares it is nice.. Would you like a coffee? (I didn't even get offered the coffee) Please go ahead and exerience the Pathetic Precision Hyundia Management Team! You will not regret the lousy customer service and experience! Very Greedy people. I purchased my used vehicle that had been inspected with no mechanical issues to report, i noticed an oil leak at time of purchase their mechanic took a quick look said out might be just a line leak, Omar s no mechanical issues to report, i noticed an oil leak at time of purchase their mechanic took a quick look said out might be just a line leak, Omar said" he didn't care take it or leave it"he dropped the price so i took it. I had it re inspected right away, came up with a few issues took it back to service as it was their department who missed these issues on their inspection, rich was great he looked after the issues i verbally mentioned but their mechanics missed fully inspecting and noting failed breaks and other front end components, in short their mechanics are not up to par and their managers are not accountable for their employees, poor customer service More
Couldn't provide the vehicle within the time I needed it. Charged my credit card the holding fee after telling them no sale. Took 6 times plus the threat of getting a lawyer before returning my money. Do Charged my credit card the holding fee after telling them no sale.
