Friendly and knowledgable sales staff Was on the Volvo dealership lot when shopping for my last vehicle and ended up discussing the new Porsche Macan with the Volvo salesman and how it's b Was on the Volvo dealership lot when shopping for my last vehicle and ended up discussing the new Porsche Macan with the Volvo salesman and how it's base price wasn't that much more than similar offerings from Audi, BMW, Volvo and the like. I commented that I felt like I wasn't rich enough to be shopping at a Porsche dealership but he encouraged me to stop by to check them out if I was interested. Despite the fact that I am a young 20 something university student (which means I'm often ignored and not engaged in some of the other luxury dealerships in Halifax), I was immediately approached in a friendly manner by a salesman. When I said that Porsche was likely out of my price range but that I wasn't interested in the new Macan the salesman Damian was still happy to take me over to look at one in person and get behind the wheel, although they only had previously sold examples on the lot at the time. Damian helped me go through a few builds and payment options to give me an idea of what a cheap build of the Macan would cost and what the payments would be like and provided me with some great literature from Porsche. I didn't end up purchasing a Porsche and instead bought a pre-owned SUV, when I stopped by the Land Rover dealership about a year later (next door to Porsche) to see the new Discovery Sport, I ran into Damian again who not only greeted me but remembered me and was willing to chat with me about some of the current and upcoming releases from Land Rover and Volvo that might suit my needs. Even though I haven't purchased anything from Porsche of Halifax yet, when I noted they only had one review on here, I felt I wanted to share my own pleasant experience with this dealership. More

This dealership makes promises to sell you a car but will not deliver. Promised to instal blue tooth system in the Porsche system but only after more than a year did they put in a Novero system, which was n not deliver. I live in PEI, so when I bought the car in NS, I asked about a loaner car. They assured me that would be no problem. On the scheduled service June 28, they only offered a car after multiple calls. I felt like I was begging. Then when I got there they wanted me to sign a loaner car form where I would accept a $10,000 liability. Never had this before and I was unwilling to sign. I left without getting a service. Porsche Cayenne is an awesome car but Steele Motors Porsche of Halifax gives car dealers a very bad name... I expect a lot more from a Porsche dealer. Buy somewhere other than Steele Motors is my recommendation More
