No problem with the service department either, parts as well, definitely recommend them. Been dealing there for many years, in fact my husband still has his 1990 F250 that he loves so much he can't part with it! Just bought a 2016 F150 XTR! More

Horrible customer service and outrageous labour rates Took my wife's 2006 Ford Fusion there because the remote starter was causing problems as well as the electrical system. my wife called Friday afterno Took my wife's 2006 Ford Fusion there because the remote starter was causing problems as well as the electrical system. my wife called Friday afternoon and was told to bring the car in early as possible Tuesday morning. I brought the car in at around 10am. The man who I dealt with at the counter was very condescending and interrupted several times while I was trying to explain the issues the car was having. If he would have listened more and interrupted less it wouldn't have taken 5 minutes to explain. After he told me the labour rate for diagnostics AND repair time was $150/hr I said forget it and walked out. This kind of pompous greed and arrogance disgusts me. Pretty sad too because licensed mechanics who work there probably don't make more than $25/hr at the most. More
F150 injector repair poor service and exorbitant cost October 2014 Had an injector go travelling through Upsala and the Shell Garage did diagnostic to confirm truck was missing on cylinder 8. I wanted t October 2014 Had an injector go travelling through Upsala and the Shell Garage did diagnostic to confirm truck was missing on cylinder 8. I wanted to get to Southern Ontario for family Thanksgiving and asked best way to have fixed. They didn't have part so recommended Pinewood Ford in Thunder Bay and that truck be towed to prevent possible damage to catalytic converter. Called Pinewood Ford at 8:14 am and told "bring it down and we'll get you going, ask for Clayton when you get here". Rushed tow truck loading and had to Pinewood Ford by 10:30 am and asked for Clayton (Clayton Borkowski - Service Advisor) who took information and told me they were busy that morning but would try and get it in that afternoon. Told it might have to be held overnight and helped me rent a car to return to my wife and dog I had left in Upsala. Called next morning at 10am to see if my F150 pickup was ready and was told it was just getting into the shop- call back in a hour or so... Called at 1130 and told same as Upsala Garage told me, it needed an injector for cylinder 8 and that they would have to order one as they didn't stock the part. Part would have to come from Toronto next day . I asked if an after market part couldn't be put on and was told they would check if one available...call back in 5 minutes . ( ya FIVE MINUTES well guess what- one wasn't found in 5 minutes when I called back 20 minutes later. They now have had my 2009 F150 two days. On third day I drove The two hours to Pinewood Ford and was there by 10 am -went to service Advisor Clayton Borkowski and asked if part had arrived and truck ready, He didn't know and went looking to see if it had come in. No one seemed to be concerned that my wife and I were stranded, that a long weekend was starting that night. If I hadn't gone in person I doubt my truck would have been given any priority to make the injector exchange. For folks who aren't mechanical changing an injector on a 4,6 v8 engine takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The Diagnostics takes 15 minutes. I was mad at the apparent lack of concern to get my truck fixed and let it be known. I was told my truck would go in right away and a mechanic would be taken off another vehicle and finally my truck got repaired.Cost of labour was over $300 in addition to $65 for the injector. Injectors are cheap and I feel this type of part should have been in stock and that Pinewood Ford runs up their hours by having a vehicle looked at twice and then the bill doesn't show time spent working on your vehicle and over charged me for this simple repair that they took three days to complete. I also had incur towing , lodging and car rental expenses . Pinewood Ford's service I received was the poorest I've experienced and I've been driving Ford F150's and cars since 1971. I wouldn't buy a vehicle from this dealership just because of their service department and how it over charges. Steve Elliott Blind River Ontario More
