Don't know the meaning of Customer Service My husband and I recently purchased a used vehicle from Pickering Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ltd. We had the "pleasure" of dealing with Luke, and lets just My husband and I recently purchased a used vehicle from Pickering Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ltd. We had the "pleasure" of dealing with Luke, and lets just say that Sales is not his forte, which is echoed by his father Paul, who happens to be the owner of the dealership, and was evident when Paul rolled his eyes in reference to his son. This should of been our first clue to walk away from the deal. The deal was written, we did not require any financing, a deposit was left and we were to pick up the vehicle 5 days later (Monday after 5pm). At approximately 3pm on Monday we received a phone call asking when we were planning on coming to pick up the vehicle, which was strange as we were told to come after 5pm, but regardless, we headed to the dealership to pick up the car. After finishing/finalizing the confirmed paperwork and paying for the licensing fees, we went out to do a final inspection of the car and leave. All was good with the exception that the summer tires were not in the vehicle, as the car was sold with both winter and summer tires (as per the listing). After Luke disappeared for a bit, he returned saying that he would have to deliver the tires the next day, as they were in storage and the person that had the key had left for the day. This was strange, given that it took 5 days to get the car "ready" and we even got a call asking when we were coming, giving the impression that all the details were taken care of. The next day, the tires were delivered during the day when we were at work. My husband got home and checked the tires that were delivered, to find that the tires were bald (no tread, marker was level with tire tread). Hence the reason they were not in the car when we went to pick it up, and why they conveniently could not get them when questioned. My husband called Paul to discuss and was pretty much asked what my husbands point was he had the winter tires. The point was the car was sold with 2 sets of tires and the 1 set was garbage and could not ever be put on the vehicle. After fighting with him and many inappropriate comments from Paul, they came to an agreement/cost to replace the tires. We should have never had to pay a cent for the summer tires, as the vehicle was sold with 2 sets of tires and that was not what was provided, not our problem he priced the vehicle too low, not our problem he never looked at the summer tires (supposedly). Paul needs to learn how to do business and run a dealership. We have purchased many used vehicles and they ALWAYS come with a brand new set of tires. The reason the dealer/Paul left the winter tires on, as it would have never passed the safety with the summer tires on the vehicle. Feel free to buy a vehicle here, but be aware that they will take advantage of you at every chance! More

Do not go here!! I took my jeep to this dealership with GPS and radio issues. They charged without fixing the issue and said they need to spend more time on the car an I took my jeep to this dealership with GPS and radio issues. They charged without fixing the issue and said they need to spend more time on the car and look at all the wiring (I.e cost a lot more). They were rude and unhelpful. I said I will take for a second opinion and took it to another dealership, where the fixed the issue immediatly with a faulty fuse. I called this Pickering dealership to explain this issue, they brushed me off and didn't get bavk to me. All in all, poor customer service, poor technicians and poor knowledge. I would not ever recommend this place and will be purchasing my next vehicle elsewhere More

Chrysler Van with malfuntioning Navigation This is part 1 of what will be a 2 part review. I left my new (to me) van with Darla at the Service shop and told them to call me when they identif This is part 1 of what will be a 2 part review. I left my new (to me) van with Darla at the Service shop and told them to call me when they identified the issue with my navigation system. The map and GPS worked but I could no longer type in a street for it to know where to go. I was in no hurry for my vehicle and let them know that. A few hours later I was notified that the technician was unable to load a software (update or reload - not sure) into the system so they would order me a new radio/nav system. They sent a driver to pick me up and bring me back to my van (great guy) and Darla let me know would order the replacement (under warranty) and it should take 4-5 days or so for it to come in. So far I couldn't ask for more service then I received. As a note a number of years back I took my other van in for servicing and had no issues. Once I get the work done I will provide part 2. I also realize that more people are apt to leave a negative review vs. a positive so I think its right to let other know when you have an "expected" experience as well. I gave "Quality of Work" and "Price" 5 stars even though the major work has yet to be performed. On review 2 I will update if required. More
