Sales rep Nick Iasenza was openly dismissive—he interrupted me, claimed a simple handshake bound me to buy, and refused to let me keep a photo of the printed offer sheet, grabbing it and stuffing it in his pocket. Worse, he withheld my vehicle-ownership card for about 30 minutes, hinting I wouldn’t get it back unless I signed. These tactics felt coercive, violated my privacy, and left me wondering if racial bias was at play (I am Chinese). I left the dealership at around 1 p.m, shocked by the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. I already shared this experience on social media and am also intending to file an official complaint with Ontario Consumer Protection. Unless management addresses these issues and changes its customer-service culture, I strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. More
Been doing business with this dealership buying my last 3 vehicles there. Last vehicle was a used car with my son. What a mistake. Car was sold certified and a few months after having it my son took it to vehicles there. Last vehicle was a used car with my son. What a mistake. Car was sold certified and a few months after having it my son took it to his garage for an oil change and asked his mechanic to go over it to see if anything else needed addressing. A laundry list of items that were wrong, so much so that the mechanic assumed my son had bought the car as is and not safetied. Many of the items should have been corrrected just to pass the safety. Dealership said that too much time (18 weeks) and mileage (16,000 km) had passed and caused these items to wear. TPMS did not work but we discovered the tire was underinflated. There was no engine air filter and when the weather warmed up we discovered the AC does not work. I asked the dealer to take the car back and do a proper safety and I would pay for any items that needed repair but not required for the safety (like the AC), but no response. Completely ghosted me. Dealership and customer service has not been the same since ownership changed from Peter Smith. I understand now why they kept the name. The name is the same but the dealership is not. Recommend you keep driving. More
Bought a car about 7 months ago, they were almost 3 weeks late getting the vehicle to me due to unable to find parts. This happens but the lack of communication about the delays was unacceptable . Now the vehicle is costing thousands in repairs due to wheel bearings gone, shocks gone, and more back work to be done. The mechanics said in the short time I have had this vehicle I could not have done that so it was sold with this issue well on its way to happening. The warranty sold to me has also not been very helpful or useful. I would not buy from here again and warn others to have an outside mechanic look at any vehicle from here. More
We had an incredible experience with Brady from the time we sat down. He listened to our needs and wants. purchased a new cadillac XT5 that included set of winter tires as part of purchase contract....these weren't available when I picked up the car; made appointment to pick them up week later but dealer cancel tires as part of purchase contract....these weren't available when I picked up the car; made appointment to pick them up week later but dealer cancelled because they lost a tire; made another appointment to pick them up 5 weeks later but still had to wait for the tires to be installed on the rims; went to install these winter tires ahead of winter and found that the supplied tires don't fit over the large front red brembo brake calipers on my Cadillac Sport model...almost two week now and everyone in a meeting and nobody returns any of my phone calls ... I guess they feel they met the contract even though I can't them,,,, More
Peter Smith GM dealership does not care about the customer after you picked up the vehicle. I have contacted the manager and left messages on a voice-mail. Does this manager even exist at ext. 222? I work very hard and spent my money on this high mileage vehicle that I was assured by Mark Hudson the brakes would be fixed under safety. The dealership only fixed the rear brakes and the front brakes need to be done at the same time as the rear brakes. I was also told the paint chips would be repaired professionally abd ir was not. The nissan dealer is down the road from this dealership and they could not spend $20 to touch up. I will not go back to this dealership and recommend saving yourself money and not go to Peter Smith Gm. I don't have the money to purchase an expensive Silverado or Sierra would I get different service if I did? I am still waiting for a manager to return my call. Shame on this dealership. I am sure the late great peter smith would be rolling in his grave hearing about the grief the dealership is putting me through. Still looking forward to a manager to call from this dealership.
