I purchased a 2021 chevrolet trail boss in January 2024 I was told it was a great truck never in any accidents the next day I brought it back because it was shaking like a misfire or something to be told the was told it was a great truck never in any accidents the next day I brought it back because it was shaking like a misfire or something to be told there was no engine light so there is nothing the could do. I have since brought it back MULTIPLE times for problems it still shakes it had absolutely NO OIL in it one day and was over heating so I brought it back and was told they weren't sure why after bring it back and back a few more time the mechanic came out and said "well I am not the one who crashed it" so clearly the truck had been in some sort of accident just nit claimed through insurance so it wouldn't show up on a car fax. the exhaust was making a rattle noise not long after I got the truck was told that was normal as is everything wring with the truck after taking it back for that a few times finally they found what was wrong and replaced the exhaust to which now blows out smoke when it feels like it again I was told that was "normal" I took it in for an oil lol test went in it was down half a court took it back again today nope it's full so apparently I have a magic truck. they also did a clean in something that builds up in the engine to "stop the shaking" saying I had to pay for it. it didn't not stop the shaking. the manager I was dealing woth at the beginning left or something and magically "there was not notes on my truck once the new one came" I will not EVER deal with this place again as they fail to rectify selling a S*** truck that I'll be in debt for 7 years for. remember all these problems have been non stop since I got the truck. I would also not recommend ANYONE dealing with this place ever!!!!!! I have asked for higher up to be denied I have asked to rectify this whole situation with nothing happening or even a chance to speak to a higher up person. I am absolutely upset and feel like I was cheated and robbed. I don't have alot of money so trading it is not an option as I already over paid and had to carry over from my previous trade in I should have kept. all I ask is a rectification on this whole situation not just oh we can't see it or your crazy or whatever other b.s they have fed me. Here is the NEW UPDATE as of today Feb 10 2025 Ok so after taking my truck else where ( Taylor AutoMall ) in Kingston with in 2 hours they found out what was wrong with my truck 2 HOURSSSSSS when peter smith couldn't in months because they give no Sh** about there customer. Here I am a couple months later and IT WAS THE MOTOR I have now got a BRAND NEW MOTOR thanks to Taylor auto mall in kingston and the staff there 1 inparticular (knows who she is) for helping me and figuring this out so quickly and getting to the bottom of this. As for PETER SMITH I am coming and I will not stop until something is done about your staff and certain Mechanic I will not post names at this time but there are 2 people in particular 😉 I encouge anyone who is looking for HONEST and absolutely AMAZING people to buy from go to Taylor auto mall in kingston it's absolutely worth it. The stress and headache from peter smith and the absolutely clueless staff (some not all) and threats to remove my post/review or they wouldn't help or look at my truck. I now have my truck back from kingston a new motor and I am absolutely amazed and happy with them and everything they have done to help me knowing I was overwhelmed and fixing another car dealerships junk for me. I appreciate you all at taylor auto mall more then you all know. More

purchased a new cadillac XT5 that included set of winter tires as part of purchase contract....these weren't available when I picked up the car; made appointment to pick them up week later but dealer cancel tires as part of purchase contract....these weren't available when I picked up the car; made appointment to pick them up week later but dealer cancelled because they lost a tire; made another appointment to pick them up 5 weeks later but still had to wait for the tires to be installed on the rims; went to install these winter tires ahead of winter and found that the supplied tires don't fit over the large front red brembo brake calipers on my Cadillac Sport model...almost two week now and everyone in a meeting and nobody returns any of my phone calls ... I guess they feel they met the contract even though I can't them,,,, More
Peter Smith GM dealership does not care about the customer after you picked up the vehicle. I have contacted the manager and left messages on a voice-mail. Does this manager even exist at ext. 222? I work very hard and spent my money on this high mileage vehicle that I was assured by Mark Hudson the brakes would be fixed under safety. The dealership only fixed the rear brakes and the front brakes need to be done at the same time as the rear brakes. I was also told the paint chips would be repaired professionally abd ir was not. The nissan dealer is down the road from this dealership and they could not spend $20 to touch up. I will not go back to this dealership and recommend saving yourself money and not go to Peter Smith Gm. I don't have the money to purchase an expensive Silverado or Sierra would I get different service if I did? I am still waiting for a manager to return my call. Shame on this dealership. I am sure the late great peter smith would be rolling in his grave hearing about the grief the dealership is putting me through. Still looking forward to a manager to call from this dealership. Dealt with Mark Hudson to purchase a 2024 Cadillac XT5. Cover plate for the tow hitch was missing, although it was on vehicle at time of listing. No matter. Spoke with finance dept., regretfully we agreed to the "upsell" of the maintenance package, ceramic coating, seat protection and cathode rust inhibitor. Upon pick up, tow hitch cover plate not on, and ceramic coating was poor. Husband is a Visual Inspector by trade, quality of workmanship was poor. Manager refused to address our concerns (did not even speak with us) so we refused vehicle and walked away. Manager did not seem to care. 3 stars is for Mark Hudson, nice guy but working for the wrong dealership. We have since purchased a vehicle from McCurdy GM in Trenton and could not be happier with the service provided by Team McCurdy. We will never deal with a 'car group' dealership again. More
Two Cadillacs later and still terrible service and lack of knowledge (repairs, including new xt6).
