Hi Andy, Thanks for the response. My name is Jenn (I use a fake name online). I spoke to Dave today and he was very nice and apologetic for what I have been through. I appreciated his call and attention to this matter very much. It is very frustrating to get the runaround and to be blamed for issues with the car. As you are likely aware I was blamed for bending the rear seat in my CX5 and told that they don't even have to fix it, the only reason they will is because it is inoperable and I bought the car there . Then a joke was made that I must be stronger that I think I am. I take very good care of my vehicles, I'm an average sized 35 year old woman, how would I bend a car seat? I have spent money to protect the cargo area with a cargo tray and after the first time I put the seats down I have two small holes. From carrying one cardboard box (25lbs). When I asked he service tech he said the car is not meant to carry stuff. After I said it has a cargo area so what is that for? He said that things rub on he carpet and will put a hole in it. I have since ordered the liner from an American parts dealer to protect this area from further damage though I feel it should be covered under warranty as the car is only 6 months old. I have asked Mazda Canada to assess this. As for the rear seat being inoperable...I had to call 3 times, and show up in person to speak to Matt about whether the back seat had been ordered, all the time getting promises that someone would call me. Dave did today and I very much appreciate it. Dave said he would call me tomorrow when he seat comes in and he will also have a look at he holes in the carpeting. These issues are shared by some of my coworkers at the RCMP that bought Mazdas at Performance. A few people I know will not return. It's frustrating have to chase people around for an answer and it's very unprofessional to blame the client and make them feel like they should just be thankful they will fix it because they don't have to. My car is 6 months old, I have not even had the seats down before this. Why would I spend money on the cargo tray if I did not want to protect my car.
