Destroyed my license plate and refuse to do anything. I purchased my car on December 15th 2017. Upon pickup of my car a service technician came out to my old car to remove my old license plates and place I purchased my car on December 15th 2017. Upon pickup of my car a service technician came out to my old car to remove my old license plates and place them on my new car. This was fine. One hour later, I got home from the dealership. I walked around my new car to admire it and noticed the rear license plate hanging loose as well as the license plate holder. Upon inspection the license plate had been permanently damaged when removed from my old car. There was only 1 plate hole that was working, the other seems to have been cut or forcefully removed from my old car. I immediately emailed my sales person (Cheryl Coffey) as the dealership was closed. I included pictures as well as a description. I also followed up with a phone call where Cheryl insisted this was not correct and that she will see it is fixed. Two days later Cheryl replied to my email with the following: "**on a side note, I have spoken to the ministry regarding your plates and they have informed me that I need to return your plates in order to replace them. I am now waiting to hear what they would like me to put on your vehicle if we remove them. I am very sorry for the delay but with the holidays it seems to be difficult getting my questions answered. I wanted you to know that I am on this and will have it looked after for you. Once again I apologize, Cheryl" My understanding at this point was that the issues was being fixed and my license plates would be replaced. Over the next 2 months there was almost no contact from the dealership in regards to this. I emailed and called multiple times and only heard back from Cheryl on January 23rd with the following email: "Hi Geoff, I am working on this. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Cheryl" After a few more phone calls and emails with no reply from the dealership, I got this email on January 26th: "Hi Geoff. Please contact my GM Tony Clarke. He is handling everything for you now. Thank you, Cheryl" I then proceeded to call Tony Clarke 12 times over the next 19 days between January 26th and February 9th (I have saved call logs and emails). Each time I spoke to Tony he seemed to put it off more and more and kept telling me to call back to check if he had any more information. Finally on February 9th he appeared to have enough and transferred me to Daniel Stein. I attempted to explain the situation to him and was immediately met with him being overly defensive, not letting me speak, interrupting me then stating outright "No we will not be doing anything as when you first started speaking you said "I removed the plates" and I consider that tampering." Daniel stated he would call me back the next day (February 10th) before 11AM. I did not receive a call back and attempted to call them with no answer. I tried contacting Cheryl, left a message for her at reception and never received any call back. More
