Worst experience ever Bought a 2015 Honda Fit new at this dealership. Now four years old with just under 70,000 km the car just died near Beaverton, Ontario on Sunday, Jul Bought a 2015 Honda Fit new at this dealership. Now four years old with just under 70,000 km the car just died near Beaverton, Ontario on Sunday, July 27, 2019. Had it towed to the dealer where I purchased the car from (Parkway Honda). On July 30th they called to say that the valve body for the transmission had been replaced and was under warranty so no cost to me. I picked the car up on Wednesday, July 30 on my way to work. On Friday, August 2nd was headed to Kitchener and just two days after the car was supposedly fixed, the car died AGAIN. Had to inch our way towards an off ramp but were unable to get the vehicle completely off the road because it would not move. A kind man on a motorcycle helped to push the car to the side but not before my friend had to direct traffic away from the vehicle which was very scary because the off ramp from the 401 to Hespeler Road is curved and the big transport trucks come racing through at a good clip. So here I am without a car on the Civic long weekend because the dealership was closed the entire weekend . One of the managers (Simon Truong) said that I should be lucky that the transmission died while it was still under warranty and that if I wanted to seek reimbursement I would have to contact head office for the two tows and $150.00 to get back to Toronto. No move on the dealers part to make things right and yep, felt really lucky having risked life and limb on the 401 getting a disabled car off to the side while dodging heavy long weekend traffic (transport trucks particularly) plus the inconvenience and expenses incurred. More
