Service always seem swamped, prices always super duper high. $550.00 to get a battery is a bit much. And my car was there from open till close even with a 10 am appt. Absolutely horrendous! Was told my timing chain guides and timing chain needed to be replaced. Also timing chain gear. I agreed to said repair confident they are accurat Was told my timing chain guides and timing chain needed to be replaced. Also timing chain gear. I agreed to said repair confident they are accurate on their findings. After all was said and done the bill was$3000. Timing chain replaced I completely agreed upon. Guides as well. Timing gear for $700 NO! I asked to see the gear and upon observing it in my opinion there was nothing wrong with the gear. I’m going on their expertise to say it should be replaced. Did not have to be replaced in my opinion. Also told I needed a new water pump that it was leaking. Was not leaking before I took it in and hasn’t since and no signs of leaking. I’ve spent probably in excess of $10,000 dollars at this dealership in the last 2 years. Also put fresh oil in during repair and didn’t change the filter. Unbelievable! The service person told me that they didn’t have authorization to change the filter. 😳 More
