Before my first year was up, albeit minor issues, when you spend a lot on a quality truck, you don't anticipate that your key fob ($175 to replace) or decals, will just fall apart. I'm giving a one star, because the service manager didn't have the time to come talk to me,after 3 voicemails with one call back. I typically keep this stuff to myself, but when a desk person comes back and says, sorry I managed to get 5 minutes of his time and he said to tell you there's nothing he can do. If you want to talk, give him a call or come back another time? Sorry to say, but that is not customer service. Especially when one can easily see, the minor damages were not caused by "wear and tear". I've now reached out to GMC themselves to see if they are willing to provide the service I feel warranted for a vehicle you spend good money on. More
Terrible service and a dealership without integrity Purchased a Cadillac used , a few years old and within the 30 day warranty period , while on a drive , my battery died. Fortunately someone nearby was Purchased a Cadillac used , a few years old and within the 30 day warranty period , while on a drive , my battery died. Fortunately someone nearby was able to give me a boost. I noticed before the boost that the vehicle voltmeter was only reading 8 volts indicating a battery with 2 dead cells. When I arrived at the dealership I spoke to Nicole Addley, used car sales manager and was told that since I didn’t buy the extra warranty the battery wasn’t covered in the 30 day period, I talked with the salesman John Vanderberg since he had sold me the vehicle. He had no interest in my problem so I returned to the garage and talked to Bruno. I explained obout the battery having only 8 volts and needed replacing. He said the battery needed testing for $70. After waiting for 1/2 hour he returned with test results...battery was only reading 8 volts and had to be replaced. New battery would be $250 and installation another $60.for a total of $429.50 I then asked to see any manager but was told none were available and that they were closing so I needed to decide now. I then was approached by the service manager Ryan Bailey who said they would not sell me a battery. He then was joined by Dave Bailey ,who said my wife and I were both very rude and we were upsetting his employees and told us to get out. He refused to sell us a battery and suggested we go to Canadian tire. When I got home I called CAA ,who within the hour, came to my home, installed a new battery with twice the warranty and at less than 1/2 the cost. Glad Dave Bailey didn’t sell me one of his over priced batteries and services. I don’t understand how this dealer has such great people working in their parts dept . There are many places who follow the adage “The customer is always right” but at Parklane the customer is always wrong. More

First, they run their computer at $58.99 then called and said This place has brutal service. We had a car towed here from another shop to flash a pcm. First, they run their computer at $58.99 then called and said the car needed a battery. Hesitant, since I had the battery tested by 3 different places the week before, I had my sister run over a battery an hour after I received that call. I call back 5 days later for an update and they say they never received a battery. So I tell him my sister handed it gord and Bruno tells me that no one by the name of Gord works there. So i go in myself to get the battery and install it. They did not give me a battery because I had no proof that we dropped on off or which one it could be. Talk about unorganized. I send my sister in with the receipt for the missing battery and a page for a Gord flies over the PA. I then get a call from a lady days later stating the car is fixed, ready to be picked up and when I asked what they found was the problem she had no idea. So $200 we pick the car up that night and it has no working gauges or turn signals. So now, my 60 year old has a car again that is not safe to drive. So I call my regular guy and he says he figures they likely fried the body control module. Lovely eh, that has to be fixed at the dealer. I call the manager and leave a message for someone to call and explain my moms bill and to ask why I was told the car was fixed when it is clearly not. My call has not been returned. Mechanic clearly noted gauges were not working on paperwork. The car, now back at parklane Sarnia we need to wait another 5 days before they will have time to run their computer at $58.99 for the third time. They have had my moms car nearly 3 weeks and I towed it there knowing what was wrong with it and got it back with more problems than it went in with. I can't believe how this place operates. Rude and Deplorable service. Take your vehicle out of town. More

I was told by service advisor Ken that there was nothing wrong with my engine, A1 condition in his words. My car had been misfiring for several days and he assured me it was probably just the spark plugs. So i decided to book an appointment to have them change my spark plugs the next day. I would have done it myself but it is a pain. After waiting 6+ hours i finally got a call that the work was done and I could pick up my car. The next morning, April 7, on my way to work, my car started spewing massive amounts of stinky smoke out of my exhaust and violently shaking and chugging. Tell tale signs of a blown head gasket. I couldn't even make it home after work and my car died on the side of the road. Called Parklane this week to speak to Ken about his "engine inspection" and the fact that he ignored me when I told him what i thought the issue was, and he took no responsibility for it. He told me there is nothing he can do for me. I wouldn't have put 200+ dollars into a car that had a blown head gasket, but he told me my engine was fine! This guy obviously has no idea what he's talking about and shouldn't be advising people about their cars. Satisfaction guarantee my xxx. More
