ripped off I had a horrible experience with this dealership which I've only been able to write now. Had to get over my anger. Bought a small mazda truck which it I had a horrible experience with this dealership which I've only been able to write now. Had to get over my anger. Bought a small mazda truck which it turned out didn't provide adequate leg room for my very tall son, so I traded for a 2006 Hyundai van. This van was a total dud. I paid for a very costly warranty and it did me no good whatsoever. Within a month I had a $1,000 fix which the warranty did not cover. This was in fact the day I returned the van, which they would not accept until I paid that $1,000. The van was returned by me because the windows iced up so badly in winter, on the INSIDE, that I had to pull over several times each time i took the van out for a drive just to scrape off the ice inside. Without doing this I could not see a darned thing out the windows! Very dangerous. When I told this to the owner of Mid City Mazda he was completely unsympathetic. His own mechanic (actually his brother!) told me that he'd seen a few vans this year that had the same chronic issue and there was NO FIX. Yet in order to trade this van in I lost thousands of dollars in the trade. The owner was rude and told me he would get "his legal team" to fight me if I chose to go the legal route. I am a single mom with no child support; that's not something I could afford. And he knew it. He gambled on me being poor because I was buying a very used car. The salesman and the warranty guy were nice; just working for jerks so I don't blame them. But beware. This place is not good!!! More
