Service customer and poor diagnosric ability. Brought a jetta in for service and was immediately welcomed with poor customer service from the service advisors. Service advisors were rude and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the products and services. Once the car issue was determined, VW advisor asked if they could keep the car overnight so they didn't have to put everything back together but they were unwilling to provide any assistance on a shuttle request. Service advisor actually said they don't have time or resources. Spoke to the service manager but nothing was ever done and no efforts were made to make the experience at Owasco a pleasurable one. More

The engine service light came on twenty minutes after leaving the dealership, they did something "crafty" to get the vehicle to pass the emission test. Additionally the horn did not work on the vehicle. They did nothing to resolve the issue and said it was "Bad Luck" assuming no responsibility. Not the end of the world for me, but surely disappointing that this dealership did not care to do the right thing. A very disappinting experience, proceed with extreme caution with these guys !! More

Second Chances, New Beginnings, and Margot! I have been reading the Owasco reviews and have noticed that many of them are pretty bad. I won't lie. In the past, I've had one or two less-than-perfect service experiences with Owasco, but I believe in second chances (is there anyone among us who can afford not to?) and I also believe in Bobby Verwey, who has taken over as General Manager. Bobby has gone to bat for me on a couple occasions when when he was Manager for Pre-Owned Sales and I had a couple of concerns. Over the years, he's made me feel like a valued customer and deserving of his time and attention. With Bobby at the helm, I have renewed confidence in Owasco's commitment to customer service in all departments. Have you seen how he's responded to the concerns raised in the reviews here? I think his leadership will mark a turning point in Owasco's quality of service and I wouldn't hesitate to bring any concern to his attention. I have purchased several vehicles through Owasco and will never be able to give enough praise to Brand Specialist, Margot Myrie. Every time I purchased a car at Owasco, she took the time necessary to learn about my requirements and my preferences in order to find the best vehicle for me. Margot's communication and follow-up are excellent and we are now at the point where we can do our business over the phone or via e-mail, which is great for a loyal VW driver and Owasco customer who lives 2.5 hours from Whitby. I will keep buying my VWs at Owasco as long as Margot is there (or they perfect cloning). More
"CRAPY SERVICE" Staffs are Well trained to sell you a vhiecle and get you in the business, but no one seems to be willing to deal with issues and deficiencies. I did my researches and found out that this particular location gets the most complaints and yet not improving. Guys just be aware and do your researches before you spend your sweet money and time. Extremely Poor Customer Service with our Service Experience My wife took her Jetta in to have our Extended Dent and Paint protection looked at. Pics were taken and the report was written up. Weeks went by with nothing from the warranty people or the dealer. Phone calls were placed with promised call backs and "we'll look into it" but never were they followed through. Then we were told it was most likely "misplaced" and never offered any kind of follow up on the matter. No calls , apologies ... anything. It's like they don't want you there to bother them at all. These people do not know the first thing about customer service. It's like they don't want you to use the Paint protection warranty that you paid for. Totally unprofessional in every respect. More
