I am disappointed with my experience purchasing a used vehicle from Kia Orleans. When I bought my vehicle, I was told it had been inspected, yet shortly after taking it home I discovered the emergency bra vehicle from Kia Orleans. When I bought my vehicle, I was told it had been inspected, yet shortly after taking it home I discovered the emergency brake mechanism had not actually been connected to the vehicle. This is not something that should ever be missed in a safety inspection. More recently, only four months after purchase, I received a “top up coolant / do not drive” warning and discovered the coolant was extremely low. This suggests either the coolant level was not checked properly at the time of sale, or there was an existing issue that was not identified. I understand used vehicles can have wear and maintenance needs, but these are both basic safety and mechanical checks that should have been confirmed before the vehicle was sold. I expected better care and attention to detail from a dealership. I hope Kia Orleans improves their inspection standards so future customers do not have to deal with these kinds of issues so soon after purchase. More
