Over 10 years! I have been a customer with Orillia Volkswagen for over ten years. Both the sales department and service advisors provide professional and courteous services. Lisa Jenkins in particular has provided me excellent customer service over the years in many situations where I need to have the vehicle serviced quickly. As well, recently I was travelling in the United States over a weekend and had a concern about how my engine was performing, Colin Koprowski (General Manager) promptly returned my voice message and provided me sound advice and guidance on what to do in the situation, in what would otherwise have been a very stressful situation. Went into the Autohaus Barrie dealership and they told me that it would either require replacing the EGR valve at > $700 plus three hours labour or another valve at > $300 plus five hours of labour. Had also been to this dealer a week earlier for a recall and they said nothing to me about the engine light. Based on the 31great reviews on google and lack of trust due to previous bad experiences at the Barrie dealer, I contacted the service department of the VW dealer in Orillia on Thursday. They said that they would not be able to work on it until Tuesday, but I agreed to drop it off after work on Friday so they could order parts if required. Saturday morning I received a call that it was fixed under warranty. He said that since VW issued a campaign about a problematic exhaust flap he checked that first and solved the problem. I wonder why Barrie Autohaus doesn’t read the VW campaign notices. Orillia VW was very professional and knowledgable. I will be taking my Jetta there from now on. More
