Our s It was a terrible delivery and we were treated like a second class citizen. Our car was parked in the corner of their service drive-through. Our sales person was also absent, and there wasn't anyone from sales to assist us. Their finance manager pushed hard to sell add-ons, and in my opinion, are unneeded extras. He seemed genuinely upset when I called him out on what his perceived tire replacement costs were. There was also some fear mongering about the longevity of the car mechanically and cosmetically - all to push their services. We will never purchase or service another vehicle from this dealership as a direct result of how we were treated during the delivery and after-sales phases. The purchasing phase was painless. In addition, the steering wheel was not centered after driving off the lot. The car only had 2km on it. Most new cars are driven at least 5-10km to ensure all systems are working correctly. Obviously this was not checked during PDI, and it took two follow-up visits to get it corrected. Think twice before wasting your time with this dealership. Their staff does not appreciate their customers, and their front-line service staff (advisors and service manager) are not technically competent about problems. Their service manager does not know what an alignment is and simply relies on green values on the specification sheet without test driving the car - despite an obvious steering problem. The GM is polite and was intent on resolving the issues; however, it is the front-line staff that are interacting with customers daily, and have lost my trust and business. It appears that the sales, finance, and particularly the service staff, do not possess the knowledge to work here. I should not have to educate their service manager on what an alignment is, and what the various adjustments are for. More
Highly deceptive for a so called premium brand dealership, with rather shoddy agreements and docs. Having waited 2 months+ for a 2026 NX350H, it finally arrived this week. Sales person was Sam an dealership, with rather shoddy agreements and docs. Having waited 2 months+ for a 2026 NX350H, it finally arrived this week. Sales person was Sam and Sales Mgr's Bruce. It was supposed to be leased agreement which upon meeting the finance person, we discovered that the lease term, annual km allowance and lease-end residual value weren't as per numbers agreed to when order was placed. When we brought this up, the finance mgr looked thru the orig offer sheet and appeared confused! We were shuffled back out to the waiting lounge while she huddled with the sales mgr and sales man trying to make some sense of that error. We wasted almost an hour as a result. The more concerning surprise came almost close to final signing of the lease agreement. There were no verbal disclosure but we took the liberty to ask the finance person about lease end buyout options and fees or "safety inspection" charges if any. She replied it's $1299.00 now, BUT (get this ppl!), when I inquired as to why it wasn't even fully disclosed in the lease agreement under the lease buyout clause, she replied that the so called safety inspection charge isn't a fixed amount. In the sense that it all depends on the discretion of their General Manager, whoever it may me at the lease end [quote-unquote]!! Wow! If this isn't 100% DECEPTIVE, what is! We spent another hour + arguing this point of contention in the lease agreement. Even with the involvement of Bruce the sales mgr. He insisted that the agreement is something that is drawn up by Lexus or Toyota Financing and it is beyond his paygrade to add any line or numbers to the document. We insisted there has to be full disclosure of any potential fees and vehicle inspection charges at lease end to be entered in the agreement. They instead retorted that they don't do so because they aren't able to predict how much labor costs and material are going to cost 4 years down the road. Hence the chances of this so-called buyout safety inspection charge will most likely be higher than the quoted $1299.00. Wow.... I told them the $1299 in and of itself is already exorbitant and a rip-off. Plus the fact that we just at the same time purchased the Prepaid Maintenance package costing another $2049 for 6 future servicing on this new vehicle. THAT package entails not only labor costs for the next 3 years BUT oil and filter and other shop supplies as well. WHERE IS THE LOGIC then, that they can determine and charge us the $2049 for 6 services that will most certainly be affected by their so claimed inflation for the next 3 or 4 years, when they adamantly and deceptively refuse to disclose a simple safety inspection charge figure that don't even involve replacing of material nor supplies. Just a mechanics shop rate for a safety inspection! God knows what they'll charge should it fails safety to fix deficiencies before we get to buy it out? So ppl, you be the judge of this. Is it a deceptive practice on the part of this dealership or is it even legal to not fully disclose any fees and / charges on the lease agreement?? I'd say, save your headache, blood pressure and anxieties and $$$ having to deal with such an unscrupulous organization. Stand up, question them and do not be intimidated by them. Do not let them get away with it. I'm not! Better still DO NOT have anything to do with the Openroad Grp More
AIR Filter Replacement as tricky Extra Charge Service. I am not coming back ! Every time their estimate is one number but ending with some mandatory extras .. they call you “during the service” an Service. I am not coming back ! Every time their estimate is one number but ending with some mandatory extras .. they call you “during the service” and asking you (one example) “if you like AIR FILTER to be replaced”? if you ask them kindly if is possible to clean it with compress air, .. No, they insist to be replaced. On the very end bill much higher than estimated!!, That “Major” service consisted of changing Oil, Oil Filter, and Brake fluid. Everything else is checking, checking, checking . . . Taking huge money for $100 job. I’ll stay away from them. More
