I think the thing that stands out the most for me is how forth right Honda is with their information. Within just a few minutes I had all of the knowledge that I needed, and felt at ease. We had dealt with other dealerships that make the process of buying a vehicle extremely frustrating and confusing. I really liked how simple their models to each vehicle are explained, you can chose A, B or C and these are the prices. Very clear!! The finance staff were great and made our life so easy with having our registration done before we arrived to pick our new odysessy up. When you have a busy family you don't have time to deal with the little things, I appreciated the help! When we picked up the odysessy we were treated with such care and had a wonderful instruction of our new vehicle. I left feeling very good about knowing how the vans features worked. Such a nice experience, so many places that we could have chosen to buy from and I feel very confident in the Okotoks Honda for all of our future services and purchases. Definetly recommended!! I had been shopping for a newer vehicle for well over a year. In mid April, I hit a deer (my car was deemed a total loss), which added some urgency to the car shopping process. Over the course of a year or more, I had had a pretty good taste of most of the salesman/dealership pitches, angles, pressure, tricks - even out and out lies. Unfortunately, I have to say that shopping on my own as a female, seemed to be an invitation for the condescention and patronization that accompanies the salesman stereotype. I found the vehicle I was later to purchase on Autotrader.ca. The price of the car was far less than that of the same car (with more miles, lower trim) at other dealerships. In addition, the car (an '08 Honda Civic EXL), had less than 36,000 km and was in like new condition. Unable to find the same kind of deal in my home city of Red Deer (as well as having had some bad shopping experiences here), I decided to drive to Okotoks. Though the car looked good on the internet, I really did not want to deal with another salesman. I started the fair trip from Red Deer, tense from the thought of what I imagined I would encounter. Arriving at Okotoks Honda (I had worked myself into an almost hostile state on the way down), I felt armed and ready fight the 'war of wit's' with a salesman. I am sure this was apparent when I met my salesman, Ryan. Ryan was quick to disarm me; he demonstrated a genuineness that I had never experienced with someone selling cars. Not only was he friendly and accommodating (and all the other good saleman things), but he was very knowledgeabe - and, dare I say .... honest! (Every sales outfit needs to know that if the customer feels they are being delivered the straight goods - they will be far more inclined to buy.) To make a rather long story short, I purchased the vehicle I had come to look at - sans the manipulation and pressure that usually accompanies the deal. Ryan was honest, forthright, and I felt that he wanted to get me a 'good deal' (important to me!) I met with Brad to work out financing, and a couple of days later, Kevin. Both of these men were very professional, and made every effort to go through and explain all items relating to the purchase of my car. (Kevin was quite funny! - Brad was great in getting back to me regarding questions et al.) In a nutshell, shopping here was a most excellent experience!! In addition to having a great experience with Ryan and the business managers, I was also contacted by the owner of the dealership, Rahim, who personally thanked me for my business. We are happily driving around in the pre-owned Civic we just bought at Okotoks Honda. The car was for sale "as is", but seeing it would cost us effort to do the changes we needed, Honda Okotoks offered just bought at Okotoks Honda. Great experience here! Had issues with my vehicle based on a 'Service Bulletin' that Honda Canada did not want to deal with. After speaking to the guys at Okotoks Honda and explaining the issue, they worke on a 'Service Bulletin' that Honda Canada did not want to deal with. After speaking to the guys at Okotoks Honda and explaining the issue, they worked to get Honda Canada's assistance to solve the issue! Once the first issue was resolved (control arm issue) I found that my tires had been badly worn out due to the first issue! Speaking with Okotoks Honda, they assisted me in getting a couple tires on warranty and thus, I am now a happy driver! Glad that there are honest people out there who are not out just to get your money. Do not pass these guys up! You will not be disappointed dealing with Okotoks Honda. More

I first started using this dealership in May of 2002 when we bought a brand new Odyssey when they were still in High River. They were hands down the best for price and customer service so we chose to buy the we bought a brand new Odyssey when they were still in High River. They were hands down the best for price and customer service so we chose to buy there even though we were living in the far North West of Calgary. We continued to go there for all our servicing. When I had an unfortunate accident in 2007 with that beautiful Odyssey, that I quite frankly credit with saving my life, I purchase a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. They took such good care of me, getting me into something that I loved and being sensitive about the accident that I had endured. Of course, by this time, many of the staff new me well and genuinely cared that I was alright. A few more twists and turns in life later, after they had moved to the new Okotoks location, I was ready to be in a mini-van again. Of course, my Civic now had almost 317,000 km on it thanks to living in the country and Okotoks Honda's very attentive care with it. Once again, I was treated with care, respect, and enthusiasm. And given a very fair price on my new purchase. I actually look forward to my service appointments, when I get to see the familiar faces again. And even when there is extra stuff to take care of that is going to hit the pocketbook a little harder (and they reward loyalty well here too) the news is delivered by the ever charming Duane Soondarsingh which takes the bite out of it. And you know that he only does it when it is really necessary ;-P I've been in the other dealerships in the city for little things here and there and there is no comparison. I would never willingly go anywhere else. More
