Okotoks Honda

Yesterday (July 27, 2012) I experienced rudeness from Okotoks Honda dealer while went to get a quote for a new Honda Pilot. I was very specific about the car, didn't do any drive/show around wasting anyones time, mentioned about my desire to replace my current Pilot with a new one and asked for a quote for cash purchase. They showed lack of interest in providing quote until firm commitment to purchase the vehicle on the same day. The sales man (Majed Larbe) showed audacity to aggressively ask me to give him the reasons why I didn't buy my current Pilot from them 3 years ago while they provided me the quote. Until then he will not provide me the quote. Also mentioned that they don't work free to provide quotes. This dealership needs to train their employees. Their salesman don't know about the basic concepts of "better deal". You don't give a better deal in your product, people don't buy it from you, they go somewhere else. It's always customer's choice. You can't charge/accuse a customer for not buying a vehicle because he didn't like the deal that time. I guess their expectation is that every customer who walks in their showroom has to buy a car, otherwise they will misbehave with them. I wonder the salesman buys his own car on the spot before doing any shop around!!! They lack basic requirement of a dealership: courtesy. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Cameron Mcallister was the worse dealer that I have ever dealt with. He seemed very uneducated about Honda products. He also did not seem to understand how to calculate car prices as he could not explain pr dealt with. He seemed very uneducated about Honda products. I went in to look at Civics. I liked the salesperson I dealt with (Jeremy) and was interested in leasing. I got all the information that I wanted (by writing it down myself>> because they didn't have dealt with (Jeremy) and was interested in leasing. They threw out some pressure sales tactics. Was on my way out the door when the owner- Rahim came and grabbed me by the arm to drag me back into the dealership. Asked me what he needed to do to get my sale. Told him I didn't like they way that they operated. Checked out Toyota. Like the Civic better. Went to Calgary Honda on Macleod. Much better experience. Better price. No high pressure crap. Bought the vehicle there. More

This is the second car we have purchased from Cam in the last year. He is a very hard worker and made us feel like we were important. They sold us a car with a blocked catalytic convertor. We returned it to the service department and they could not find the problem. Twenty minutes with my own mechanic and they found the defect with no prob returned it to the service department and they could not find the problem. Kudos to Mr. Premji for handling the matter in a professional manner. He and his management team came to a fair solution to the problem and it was fixed. More

Wanted a Honda....and got one! Michael and Brad were great to deal with and we are very happy with our new Civic. I just bought a 2012 Honda Fit from Okotoks Honda and I can not stop telling everyone how lucky I was to get to work with Berton! I have had quite a terrible time trying to find this car in the awesome can not stop telling everyone how lucky I was to get to work with Berton! I have had quite a terrible time trying to find this car in the awesome turquoise colour I insisted on in a reasonable time period. I had terrible experiences with other Honda dealers and their underhanded sales tactics so it was even more of a relief when I got in touch with Okotoks and Berton. I told him how I had been treated by another dealer and he decided he would make it right and help me find the car I desperately wanted. Berton even beat the price I had negotiated with another dealer who decided last minute wouldn’t bring in the car for me because it wasn’t profitable enough for him to bother (and I didn’t even have to ask him to! Told him I would buy the car if he could get it and was totally expecting to have to pay full MSRP!), he was just as concerned that the car was looking perfect and that I knew how to use all my cool new features as I was (actually probably more), and he is just a great person to deal with! Every step of the way he went above and beyond! Berton personally went to another dealership to pick up my car on time, kept me posted about where my car was, sent me pictures, eased my fears, and answered my questions honestly (this was my first new car and I had lots of fears and questions). I live in Edmonton but it was worth every KM to get there and back to get to work with Okotoks Honda and especially Berton! I would do it again in a heartbeat and I can’t see me buying a Honda from anyone else, I’ll be back for sure! More
