Janine put me into the car of my dreams! I came into Okotoks GMC with a simple idea of "I might want a new car." I only had my 2015 for almost 3 years but I still felt the pull to go towards I came into Okotoks GMC with a simple idea of "I might want a new car." I only had my 2015 for almost 3 years but I still felt the pull to go towards something new, but I wasn't thinking seriously about it. I went in looking at the Buick Encore's, but I wasn't overly in love with them. I told Janine what I wanted and she did find it, but I mentioned how my dream car was a GMC Terrain. The next time I came in she found me a cheaper option than the Encore and it was my dream Terrain! While the price was a bit more than I wanted to spend, with regards to my amount owing on my old loan, I am so happy in this vehicle. The safety features are amazing and I am enjoying every drive with it. In the span of one week I went from thinking about possibly getting a new car, to omg I bought a 2018 GMC terrain. Thank you Janine! I look forward to my visits for oil changes to come and say hi. Overall the experience was quick, easy, and painless (except once I saw the final bill lol! but welcome to being an adult) More

Rob Barron Rocks!! I took my car in for its regularly scheduled oil change when Rob emailed me asking if I would be interested in trading my car. I agreed, under my term I took my car in for its regularly scheduled oil change when Rob emailed me asking if I would be interested in trading my car. I agreed, under my terms, and Rob went with it. Ended up getting me into a 2018 Terrain (what I wanted within my price range). Even after I purchased said new car, Rob was there to answer any questions and deal with any issues that have come up. It was nice to see that even after the sale was made, he kept his word and was available to help. You don't get that from many people anymore. I have already recommended him to another potential buyer :) More

Further to uncaring review I am replying to a reply that Shaun from Okotoks chev made to my original post . It seems that he is trying to deflect the problem back to me by saying I was rude to the receptionist. I was no way rude or disrespectful I am just not that way. I was not happy and made it clear I also pointed out some shortfalls in their procedures. But again I was in no way disrespectful. This is just not true. The problem is with the dealership not caring about the customer and beyond that they don't have any communication. As a matter of fact they have contacted me 3 more times saying the parts I never ordered are in and to make an appointment to get them installed. They just don't get it. As for Shaun trying to deflect the problem to me just shows he doesn't care and that reflects all the way down from him. As I said in my original post I gave them a chance and they dropped the ball numerous times. I tried to point out their deficiencies but Shaun just wanted to make it personal. That's sad. Good luck to anyone who uses them I hope your experience is better than mine was. More

Great customer services from start to end After arriving in Calgary only a week or so before I was able to secure a lease on a 2018 Chevy Silverado. Rob guided me through my options and answered any questions I had. Dan, the finance manager, also managed to help me secure a lease agreement with the bank despite having no Canadian credit history. He was patient and guided me through the process and explained the options clearly. What really stood out though is Rob going the extra mile. He took full accountability after there was a problem with the AC, a rare trait amongst sales people after the ink is dry, and went the extra mile to resolve in under 48 hours. This involved collecting the truck, supplying me with a like for like replacement vehicle free of charge, and dropping it back off all in his own time. If you want a dealership and salesman that is still interested after the money is in their hands, then this is the place for you. I will 100% be using them again in 2 years time when my lease is due for renewal. More
