The reason for the 3 star rating (and I think is an important buying decision) is the absolutely terrible service department. Upfront, they are very nice and approachable. Behind the scenes, they're unaccountable lazy individuals willing to lie to cover their own mistakes. I've had dipsticks left not fully inserted after an oil change, scratches left on door panels after repairs, a mirror replacement where the tech left the driver side door panel about 1/2" away from flush and when brought back into the dealership they left multiple scratches down to the metal where they must've used a screw driver to pull and push the door panel back in place and then left it scratched! They sprayed underbody/undercoating protectant over the electric retractable side steps causing the steps to amp out and stall, didn't spray multiple areas out of sheer laziness with the undercoating then lied saying "they don't spray under skid plates" which is bullsh*t because the truck model doesn't have skid plates where they didn't spray, they denied an issue with leaf springs and had to heckle them multiple times bringing it in to prove the issue until they finally replaced them and the issue was gone, they scratched on delivery, paint off the rear of my new truck and also the upper steering wheel column and denied a claim to replace the small plastic panel because I didn't notice right before I signed the final paperwork / when I took the truck off the lot according to them; even though I noticed within the first couple days. Nice customer service; this is over 2 separate truck purchases. Not to mention the guy who installs the 3M clear paint protection film, twice now, pulled the rubber bump stops from the hood end then left them rattling around under the hood The latest issue was on a 3500HD Denali Ultimate (not a cheap truck) and the kicker audio panel is dealer installed, and not from the factory which is unfortunate. The lazy technician who installed it drilled and tapped holes for the screws off center and on an angle, which permanently alters the rear tailgate first of all (you can't re-drill these holes as new again ... the damage is done), and secondly makes it so whenever you step on the tailgate step, the audio panel is prone to cracking near the middle bolts where they drilled off center and on an angle because the audio panel doesn't sit flush to the tailgate and twists far enough to crack with any pressure. I've had to glue the panel back together, open up the holes with a larger sized drill bit and use additional washers to keep it in place because they refused to own up to the installation error at the dealer. So my new $130,000 truck has a glued together panel with a big crack and worse than that which is my real issue, is the lies, denial, brush-offs like "we've never seen this happen before", saying they "left a message did you get it", and GM denied the warranty claim .. no xxxx GM denied it, because your dealership installed it incorrectly and instead of taking ownership and figuring it out yourself, you no doubt didn't give a xxxx to actually sort it out despite it being your mistake. I wouldn't trust this dealership's service department with an oil change, never mind anything more serious. Last time I picked up my truck they couldn't find my keys, and were scrambling to find my truck and get it back to me despite calling the night before saying its ready for pickup because the tech amped out my steps, scrambled to replace the fuse, and not only that, in a Denali Ultimate trim left dirt all over the fuse panel as well as the premium leather seats. Take a clue buddy ... don't be so lazy and unaccountable. Brutal track record of mistakes; I feel bad for individuals who go into places like this and aren't tech savvy or have decent knowledge of their vehicles enough to argue back or know when you're being sold a line.
