Beware of Pre-sales conditions NOT being met for Used Car Bought 2003 Ford Focus wagon with low kms and in good shape. Pre-conditions for sale that I wanted addressed were; Oil Smell while driving Missing Bought 2003 Ford Focus wagon with low kms and in good shape. Pre-conditions for sale that I wanted addressed were; Oil Smell while driving Missing antenna Non-functioning 12 V outlet for phone charging, etc. Ensure air conditioning fully charged and working Fix hole in muffler Remove some dings and repaint Items were supposedly fixed and picked up late at night and took ownership. Dealership said; Valve gasket replaced for oil leak - It Was Antenna replaced - It was 12V outlet fixed - It was A/C - informed was working correctly but it was end of February so not easy to test >> more later Muffler - I took car to their muffler guy who fixed it and charged dealership direct dings fixed and repainted - None was done that I could see Took vehicle back for repainting which was done satisfactorily and also noted to them that rear defroster wasn't working >> they attempted to fix and replaced wiring and told it was working One week later the defroster was still NOT working and transmission developed shifting problem so took back in Worked on defroster again but has NEVER worked Transmission was fixed effectively A/C was of course never tested until this week of warm weather in Ontario (June 2-3, 2014); took to mechanic friend and he informed me the fan resistor was not working and the A/C had NO Freon in it and could not work. I called the dealership back and they said they had no responsibility to help even though it was a precondition of sale. So, while the folks at Ontario Used Car Superstore are friendly and seemingly helpful there were enough red flags that work was said it was done but clearly wasn't I would be very careful and ensure that they deliver what they promise as I'm left with a car that I purchased with supposedly functioning A/C and facing a large bill at my expense. Let the buyer beware!!!!! More

Great Experience I'v been searching for the right vehicle approximately a year. My search was through Lease Busters, Auto Traders, direct visit to Dealerships. My experiences through those venues and Dealers were not the best.....lack of responses, not taking me seriously because I am a woman...... Last Wednesday late night I noticed an add on Auto-trader.ca and requested more info via email.....Next morning I received a very informative response from Marcus and subsequently I was able to test drive the vehicle on Friday. Marcus accommodated my request to meet with me in North York......as I am in the East end of the City and he is in Oakville. He was very polite.....helpful with necessary information related to the vehicle.....I felt respected and appreciated for my potential business. My further request to inspect the vehicle in question by my long time mechanic was met with openness.....and that sealed the deal! Having this great experience makes me feel confident about my purchasing choice with Marcus. I also have praise for Salem, the financial "Guru".....with his sincere service.
