I was in to buy a used car for my teenaged son and Rob Drohan was able to find me the right one at the right price.He was very friendly and helpful and when I had selected the car I wanted he made sure it was ready for pick up. He offered to let me take it for the evening so my son, who was not with me at the time, culd drive it and decide if he liked it. He also made sure to deliver on some other smaller items (floor mats, paint pen). I found Rob to be sincere and truly appreciative of the business. The best car purchase experience I've experienced I had just moved to Halifax and wanted to get a used vehicle. After visiting every dealership in both Halifax and Dartmouth, the crowd at O'Regan's Gr I had just moved to Halifax and wanted to get a used vehicle. They worked hard to obtain my business, were very understanding about my wanting to check all records and take time to think about the deal and were never pushy about trying to seal the deal at that very moment like some other dealerships. Kirk in particular was fantastically understanding and laid all of my concerns to rest. I would highly recommend him for all those looking to buy a used vehicle. O'Regan's Green Light were confident in the vehicles they sell, fair to me regarding trade in and worked hard to earn my business and trust, which they succeeding in doing. Pushy! Came in to get my 2007 Ford Focus with low KM to get appraised so I could buy a newer vehicle. I got a low ball offer on it of $1,500 and I had to wait an hour before they raised the trade in to a normal price. They put us in a situation where we could only buy the vehicle we want if we finance it. Furthermore, I know the salesman is working on commission but when attempting to leave and get my keys back of the vehicle they appraised I had to pretty much argue my way out of there. Will NOT be shopping at O'Regan's and will not be recommending this place to anyone. Weird how your trade in can magically go from $1,500 to $4,000 and the price can be lowered an additional $1,000 if you finance. More

In November 2013 I was looking, reluctantly, for a car to replace my aging Toyota because it needed a lot of work. After doing a little online research I had an idea what I needed and found some likely examp replace my aging Toyota because it needed a lot of work. After doing a little online research I had an idea what I needed and found some likely examples on the O'Regan Green Light Used Car branch in Halifax. The car I had liked most was right there in the parking lot next to where I parked. When I went into the dealership I was met by Rob Drohan. We chatted for a while, went for a test drive, chatted some more, and I signed the papers. It was a relatively painless procedure (except for the financial part after all the other charges were added up, but that had nothing to do with Rob). I found him to be casual but business-like, friendly, knowledgable, accomodating, relaxed, not 'pushy' at all. It all went very smoothly. I would recommend Rob to anyone I knew who was thinking of looking into getting a car. His attitude and professionalism made, for me, what could have been a stressful task, no big deal at all. He has followed up with me by email several times since I bought the car but I have been recuperating from surgery and am just now getting back to my normal life, hence the delay in my writing this review.
