Northland Chrysler Jeep Dodge responded

First we do not give paperwork to persons who deem the Dealership incompetent. Customer stated they were going to utilize paperwork in order to seek legal action against the Dealership. The transmission is question was done under warranty over 36 months ago, yes it only has 30,000 km's since repair but slipping issues could be due to dry seals or a lack of fluid due to a leak from a hose, cooler or many issues. The parts installed in the transmission were covered for a period of 12 months or 20,000 km's whichever comes first from the day her repair is done. At no time was my voice raised to this customer, and she was actually on speaker phone when conversation was cut short by her loosing her temper, yelling that we were incompetent, and she proceeded to hang up on me, not her version. A Chrysler Canada Warranty representative was sitting in my office to witness this conversation. We always treat our customer's with the utmost respect, and you can rest assured we are far from incompetent. If there was an issue with our workmanship, we would honour any obligations according to our agreement with Chrysler Canada. Your vehicle has been out of Wrranty for over 2years. Our obligation ended over 24 months ago. Regards

My conversation with the warranty company that paid for the transmission work was that the transmission was rebuilt. My conversation with yourself indicated that it was not rebuilt, but in fact certain parts were replaced. Right off the bat there is a discrepancy. In your conversation you indicated that I haul a camper and implied this could be the issue. That comment had no relevance and again was an excuse. I have since take the truck else were and will continue to do so. Also if I am asked I will recommend others do the same. This is all based on my experience with the service provided by this dealership. Court order, are you kidding. Why would I need a court order, may you wonder.
