Service was fast and got us out of a pinch while traveling. Dealership charged double due to 200.00 inspection report for a known problem and an unnecessary break fluid flush at $200.00 also. Had a safety recall on our truck for ABS and Stability Control, took 6 months for the software update to even be available for the 2022 model that we own. Spent the entire winter with no ABS or stability Control, took 6 months for the software update to even be available for the 2022 model that we own. Spent the entire winter with no ABS or stability control in Northern Canada, which was an incredible safety issue and was dangerous, considering we purchased the truck specifically for safe driving in harsh winter environment. Finally we were told we could bring it in, we drove 3 hours to do so, they spent 2 hours doing the software update and fixed nothing. Told us that coincidentally our truck must have just happened to break down in a way unrelated to the recall and caused the EXACT same issues that the recall was for, and that now we will have to pay to fix it, likely hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Our advisor was Clayton, he was incredibly unsympathetic and unhelpful about the issue. We will not be dealing with Northland Dodge ever again- will go to Smithers if we need a dealership. And will not be purchasing another Dodge or Ram ever again. More
