Working here really broke my trust in humans, car dealer owners, managers/supervisors, coworkers, etc. If you the customer thinks you’re being scammed try working for a man who steals half your hours from a job, but charges Ford Canada the full hours and pockets that half that you’re missing. Forces workers to replace an engine for free… free work? Their is a word for that and it rhymes with slavery. More
Experience with North star Ford in Fort mac has been nothing short of awful. When a sales person won’t even email me back, after saying they will contact me in 15 mins I would not call that professional nothing short of awful. When a sales person won’t even email me back, after saying they will contact me in 15 mins I would not call that professional by any means. Eventually I was emailed back 5hours later, after I called and asked what happened. When a sales person gives me one offer with no break down, no financing rate after being asked for it, and not willing to work with me on a term and ignoring my questions, as a potential customer I feel neglected and that my business is not wanted. I have been observing the vehicle in question online for over a month, no wonder it’s still up for sale More

I told them to put a new bolt on and re torque it and it's perfectly fine. Still charged me over 700 for about an hour of work and a 2$ nut. More

Derek, assistant Service Manager took the time to diagnose and effect permanent repairs to the wiring harness on my service vehicle. It was needed as the truck would need to be taken off the road until repairs were made otherwise. Laura the receptionist was very kind and efficient as well in handling the situation. I highly recommend this shop for any kind of problem with your vehicle. More
This Ford service centre is very creative when coming up with non-warranty repairs to our vehicles. My favourite is an $800 repair bill for each of two 2012 F-150's because, according to them, an evap canis with non-warranty repairs to our vehicles. My favourite is an $800 repair bill for each of two 2012 F-150's because, according to them, an evap canister was filled with raw fuel and this was, somehow, not the fault of Ford design so is not a warranty item. Discussions with other Ford dealerships in Calgary and even with their own company in Cochrane show that this complaint has never been heard of before and should be a warranty item. What is triggering this review is they are now telling our field staff that one of the trucks has water in the rear differential and this is not a warranty item either. The truck, and the others we have on site, has less than 10000 kilometres and is not driven off road. How can so many things go wrong with these "built Ford tough" vehicles in such a short time? Advertisements on television claim these trucks work on construction sites, on mines ... Our trucks are working on a construction site that has smooth, gravel roads and they are plagued with non-warranty repairs! Overall, they're very friendly people. But then, most con artists are. Just saying! I called Ford Canada with my concerns but they said they could not investigate but would send in a complaint letter to the company. I have heard nothing from them. But, since they're the only Ford dealership within a few hundred kilometres, why should they care? They don't give a xxxx about one customer if there are so many trucks up there working on the oil sands. Any company worth their salt would be contacting a customer who puts in a complaint accusing them of dishonesty. Due to our inability to take these trucks to other repair centres, we are stuck using this company. I would GLADLY take them to another company if I could. But it makes no financial sense to spend the extra money to take the vehicles to another Ford dealership. I like the Ford trucks but I will never buy one if only because of this company's poor service and Ford Canada's reluctance to do anything about it. More
