Horrible sales experience We are now living in the year 2017 and you would think that women should be treated just as equal to men when purchasing a car, heck money is money, b We are now living in the year 2017 and you would think that women should be treated just as equal to men when purchasing a car, heck money is money, but this is not the case at Norden. My husband went to Noreen to check out a car we had seen online, negotiated a price, was asked for a credit card to hold the car at that price so I could come take a look the next day. This was my purchase, I would be making the payments not my husband, so my husband did not give them our credit card to hold because this was my decision in the end. However, I contacted the same salesmen and set up an appointment to view the car, everything went great, but then when I went to ask what kind of deal they would give me because I know the deal they were going to give my husband, they refused to make any kind of deal and actually wanted to charge me 2000$ more to get more warranty. I asked about the offer my husband was and them settled on and they told me that it was not a firm offer and my husband was mistaken. Then the sales manager came out to explain the situation and he did not even speak to me but instead asked if we could call my husband to talk about the offer. I phoned my husband and on speaker phone the sales manager asked him how they could get him in this car and what could they offer him to purchase the car. Not what can we offer you and your wife or actually your wife actually he should have been asking me what they can offer because again this was my purchase not my husbands. My husband told them we were no longer interested and then basically that was that they did not want to deal with me any further. I left very upset. I didn't know that being a woman in 2017 made car sales experiences so terrible. Again money is money regardless if it comes from a man or woman, but I guess this is not the case at this dealership. After loosing hope of finding a car using othet dealerships, we decided to test our luck one more time and we hit the bingo. Dima took care of us as though we were his family. He took in consideration all of our requests and desires making sure that we are absolutely in love with out new car. Now we are so excited to drive our new car!! If you have a chance to stop at Norden VW ask for Dima and you will have no regrets. More
