I got a call from Dylan stating that they made a mistake and had a "miscommunication" with the shop about the matter and that they will be fixing the problems. . Coincidently after being ignored for days on end, I get a response from him, after I put a bad review. Despite all of that stress and time, I was able to finally get my vehicle repaired. I was promised a courtesy car as it would be a while to get my car fixed. I asked the reception for the courtesy car and they made a call , then told me that I can sit and wait in the lounge and that John, (the salesman) will be setting up the paper work for the courtesy car. After waiting in the lounge for an hour ,for the courtesy car, I was told I can't have it because I don't have insurance, when it was known that I can't get Manitoba insurance without my car problems being fixed. They ended up sending me in a shuttle to the mall. After being at the mall for about 4 hours I gave the service department a call to see if my car was fixed yet, and they confidently told me it was ready to go as if it's been ready for a while. It's like they didn't even call me to let me know it was fixed and I can come pick it up. Once I got there to pick up my car I got my keys and was on my way to the car.. When I got to the vehicle I circled around the car for any damages and noticed in the back there was no license plate. I was angry and confused. I went inside and asked the service staff how I'm suppose to get home without a plate and why they took it? I spoke with Scott about this matter and he told me that I was suppose to have insurance and a plate for it. When it was known that I could not get Manitoba insurance and registration without my car being fixed. I kept getting told by Scott that I've had a month to get the registration even though I couldn't without the repairs being done that's why I was there getting the repairs done. Also when I got the car I was not at all explained that the plates were only good for one week. By the time I got this information it was quarter to 5 and no insurance place was open past 5. I was having a melt down because I was expecting to already be heading home (3 hours away) and I'm running into problem after problem with this place. Scott was visibly annoyed. He said I only have one option and thats to go to the registry, purchase an online insurance and get my registration I asked if I could get a ride to the registry office and he kept refusing, telling me I could pay for a cab even though the lack of communication in this matter was all on them. (During all of this I got my boyfriend to call Scott because I was frustrated with him, he made me cry. My boyfriend asked to talk to Scott's boss, and obviously Scott wouldn't allow that...) Finally he came up too me and said "I can get someone to drive you even though he is suppose to be with customers right now." I couldn't believe how I was treated after all the screw ups on their part. A man drove me to the registry office, when we were on our way there he called John Mallari and had it on speaker phone. As soon as John picked up the phone he said "All you had to do is drop them off and ditch them." Which was so unprofessional.After all that nonsense the online insurance wasn't working for me and before I knew it, it was closing time for the registry. So I had to spend money on a hotel. I got everything figured out in the morning. I made my way to the dealership to get my car and put my plates on. Norden Volkswagen staff are very unprofessional, I would not recommend buying a car from them. I wish I bought a car from one of the other Volkswagen dealerships in Edmonton. I hope my situation can be read by everyone who is thinking about buying a car from this business, so people can avoid the problems, stress, time and false promises. Please Do Not Do Business With This Dealership.
