Stressful and uncomfortable buying experience As a first time car buyer I had a very poor experience at this dealership and will not be returning. Our salesperson was friendly but did not know the product or what the dealership had to offer at all! I felt very pressured into making the purchase, and though I haggled to get the price lower it was fruitless. The staff made it seem like they were giving me a great deal on the vehicle and helping me out when it was clear that they were not. The manager made condescending comments like "the math is simple" as if I didn't understand. When I asked questions my salesman would talk around it and not give direct answers. I asked several simple questions including if I could store my tires at the dealership and he said he did not know and never followed up with finding answers. The manager would not give me the promotion of $500 on a go card if someone referred me to the dealership even though I asked several times. In sum, I have many unanswered questions from the staff at this dealership. I also ordered a car starter to be installed in my vehicle. Staff said it would be ready Tuesday, as the week went on it ended up not being ready until Saturday. When I picked the car up the car starter did not work and my salesman said he couldn't figure out why so I would have to call the car starter install company and get it looked after myself. Overall very unhappy with the service I received as it was difficult it was to get simple answers and I left without my car working 100%. I felt a great deal of pressure to purchase the vehicle, there were several tense moments and a lot of talking in circles which left me feeling uncomfortable. This experience took away the excitement of picking up my first new car which should be a proud moment. More

Pleasant, Respectful, Honest I bought my Audi at Norden VW a few years ago, and have continued to service it there ever since, with only one exception. My regular advisor Bri Tayl I bought my Audi at Norden VW a few years ago, and have continued to service it there ever since, with only one exception. My regular advisor Bri Taylor does an awesome job technically, and her customer service is always on point - which I’ve appreciated especially when she’s had to deliver news that isn’t as awesome.. Overall I’ve found Bri and the whole team to be quite pleasant, honest, genuine and extremely respectful of my time. For these reasons they can expect to see me for my next appointment in a couple hundred km! Thanks! Keep it up! More

My issue lies with a lack of organization and c The Norden Volkswagen service department has altered my previous positive viewpoint on their location. My issue lies with a lack of organization and communication on behalf of the people responsible for coordinating appointments. Recently an appointment for a remote starter issue was booked for a thursday at 7 am while neglecting to inform me the employee who handles these issues wouldnt be in until 10 am. I was sent a text and left a voicemail for appointment confirmation but not made aware of nobody being available to complete the service. If the workers spent more effort on ensuring appointment accuracy instead of blaming customers for why the work was necessary this oversight could have saved me time and effort. Also as a customer being told that I will receive a call once my car is ready and only finding out it was ready for pickup after I called inquiring comes off as careless and unprofessional. I understand I am one of many customers but when no actual work was done on my vehicle it's ridiculous to lose my car for a whole day (7 am to 330). In the end the issue was resolved elsewhere for cheaper and in the future i may be tempted to seek other options first for any other services required. More

Horrifying I recently bought a car (May 2017) from Norden auto in Edmonton Ab. It was a used 2006 acura csx for $8900. I have had a few issues now , but with thi I recently bought a car (May 2017) from Norden auto in Edmonton Ab. It was a used 2006 acura csx for $8900. I have had a few issues now , but with this latest one i feel i need to formally put in a complaint. The first and relatively minor issue is they said they would fix the remote starter for me. An error message comes up when you try and start it and they said they would have a specialist look at it and that never got done, it still doesnt work. Then about 2 weeks ago my car broke down. I got it diagnosed by an acura dealership as the clutch and flywheel, and took it to another mechanic in edmonton to fix it at a cost of $1200. I know there is no warranty on my vehicle and that it could have been an issue with my driving, even though i've only had it for a few months. Upon getting it back though it drives like a different vehicle now compared to the day i bought indicating that the clutch was more than likely on its last legs when i bought it. Still, i paid it and let it go because its nothing i can prove and i have no warranty. Now to address my last and biggest issue with my service at Norden. When we went trhough the car history report something came up about a recall. During the 2 day process i had to ask numerous times if it had been dealt with. Finally, after about the third or fourth time i asked the salesman said he looked into it and it had been fixed. Yesterday i got a letter from Acura that it hadnt. It is a major safety issue, a faulty airbag that "metal fragments could pass through the airbag cushion material possibly causing injury or fatality to vehicle occupants" as it states in the letter, which i can send you a copy of if you would like. This is a recall that acura fixes free of charge, i would have still bought the car and arranged to get it fixed had that information been disclosed to me. Regretfully it was not, and i have been driving me and my son around in this car unknowing of the dangers of it. When i went into Norden for a vehicle i had just been in an accident while sitting at a red light, had my car written off and was so thankful my son wasn't with me. The salesman knew all of this and still sold me a car that put my child and i at risk and i cannot comprehend how anyone with any set of morals could do this, i find it absolutely horrifying. When i went there i was in desperate need of a vehicle and i felt like i could trust the people that were selling me my car. They sell how many millions of dollars of cars out of there and were willing to lie to me and put my 3 year old in jeapordy over $8900. I can deal with faulty starters and hefty mechanical bills, but this is absolutely reprehensible and i am completely disgusted with my experience, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I was contacted by a general manager at norden last week who continually minimized the recall saying it is not a big deal, and that the salesman did not remember any conversation about a recall. He then started questioning who installed the remote starter. It doesn't matter it was installed before i bought the car and your salesman said it would be fixed. I am disgusted with their service and will never go back there and recommend you don't as well, if you do get absolutely everything in writing. More
