I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with NewRoads Subaru was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others. If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I purchased a 2024 Volkswagen GTI Subaru was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others. If I could give a negative star rating, I would. I purchased a 2024 Volkswagen GTI from their pre-owned inventory. I was fully aware the vehicle had been in an accident, and I accepted that upfront. However, I was explicitly told that all replacement parts used were OEM and that the vehicle had been fully repaired and was in proper working condition. This turned out to be completely untrue. After taking delivery, it became clear that the repairs were poorly done and far from professional. Certain components—such as the mirror on the side of the accident—were not functioning properly, and the overall quality of the repair work was extremely sloppy. It’s obvious corners were cut. To make matters worse, the cargo cover was missing at pickup. When I raised this with the used car sales manager, Rob, he assured me he would follow up—but never did. His attitude throughout the interaction came across as dismissive and arrogant, which only added to the frustration. Shortly after I signed, the salesperson I dealt with was no longer with the dealership, leaving me with zero accountability or support. At that point, I had already paid what I now realize was more than a fair price for a vehicle in this condition. Transparency, honesty, and follow-through were all lacking in this experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here—especially pre-owned—to think twice and do a very thorough inspection before committing. More
