Your perspective is important to us, and it is clear that your experience with New Wave Auto Sales has not met your expectations. I want you to know that your satisfaction is our priority, and I am fully committed to addressing your concerns with transparency and respect. Addressing Your Timeline and Initial Experience: From your initial application on July 14, 2024, to the delivery of your vehicle on August 17, 2024, we aimed to provide consistent updates at every stage, particularly while your vehicle underwent Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) and final preparation. It took 3 days to get you fully approved, and when asked about delivery, we were up front that it needed to go through the shop still before delivery. We understand that waiting for delivery can be frustrating, and we tried to keep you informed about the process. Unfortunately, there were part delays due to couriers, which occurred, and we updated you accordingly on multiple occasions. Our goal is always to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards before delivery. Concerns Regarding MVI and Oil Change: You mentioned that the 2-year MVI appeared as only 1 year, and that the oil change indicator came on shortly after delivery. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience this caused. We strive for accuracy in all documentation. In this case, it appears the technician may have entered the wrong year on the MVI ticket, a human error that can happen even to the best of us. We would have been happy to correct it immediately had it been brought to our attention sooner. Regarding the Oil Change light, it comes on as the vehicle is used and the distance it travels. In this instance, August 17 to November 1. Keep in mind this is a 2012 Mini Cooper, and fresh oil on older vehicles can look dirty relatively quickly, depending on driving conditions, driving habits, as well as the age of the engine and internal condition of the motor. This is also something we would have been happy to cover the cost of if asked. Fog Light and Vehicle Condition: Your feedback about the fog light is inaccurate. Our records and photographs from both our website and delivery day confirm the vehicle was equipped with fog lights at the time of handover and not missing. Breakdowns and Mechanical Issues: Learning that you faced mechanical difficulties, including a missing coolant hose and recent breakdowns, is concerning. Vehicle reliability is of the utmost importance to us. We have not received any calls, emails, or texts from you regarding these issues until your review, but please know we are ready and willing to help diagnose and resolve these matters promptly. Our Commitment to You: Since receiving your review, we have made several attempts to reach you directly by phone to offer our assistance and make things right. We have not been able to talk on the phone and have left a voicemail for you to call us back, but I want to reaffirm our commitment to resolving your concerns.
