Had my 2019 Honda Ridgeline with 44,000 Km serviced pre winter and post towing season. Drained/flushed/replaced transmission oil, swapped over from summer to winter tires (on rims), a slightly early oil ch winter and post towing season. Drained/flushed/replaced transmission oil, swapped over from summer to winter tires (on rims), a slightly early oil change and full vehicle inspection. I have installed a Scan Gauge to monitor transmission temperatures when towing had some questions regarding what temperature I should keep it under which the tech was brought out to answer: less than 130 F preferred with 140 and above being a concern as the oil starts to oxidize and starts to deposit like a varnish. The flush did not indicate a breakdown problem and I had pushed the temperatures a bit to high 140's for 20-30 minutes a couple of times. The service person was helpful in pointing me in the direction of a paint colour match for chips which Honda as a company isn't capable of apparently as I have had two of the dauber paint pens which do not match. Service staff was excellent. More
