Worst service I've ever encountered If I could rate it a zero I would. I needed a duplicate key for my handicapped fathers car as one broke. The new $171 key needed to be programmed, and for that there was another charge of $30 and I was told I had to go to the service desk. There were 2 guys at the desk, I asked one, who I found out later was Bobbie, told me I had to have the car there to do it. Knowing it was a quick job I asked him how long it would take, as I could go home now and come back with Dads car. He told me it was first come first served and it could be 3 hours or more waiting. I asked if I could make an appointment, and he said no, they don't take appointments. Disbelieving, I repeated I can't make an appointment?, he said no I couldn't. I said when is the time it is slowest, he said I would just have to come and wait. I said let me rephrase it then when is the best time to arrive that I can get in more quickly. He said, well you could arrive at 7:30. I turned around and left, he had this smirk on his face the whole time. This morning I arrived at the dealership at 7:20am and there was no one around in service. I looked on my IPad and found that service doesn't open until 8 am, which Boobie obviously knew. Then at 8 I was the first in, and dealt with Kim Prosser who was an amazing 5 star employée and the first thing she said was do you have an appointment. I told her my story about what someone in service told me, no appointments, 3 hour waits and come on at 7:30, she said of course we take appointments and we don't open until 8. She apologized, did the paperwork and told me she would get the car in first thing, probably a 30 minute wait. When I left I saw the guy (Bobbie who I recognized from his picture on this site) who previously did such a disservice to the company who employs him, and the guy (John) who was standing beside him during my initial conversation with Bobbie and said nothing about the lies Bobbie spouted. I'm not sure why Bobbie still has a job as he obviously has abhorrent customer service skills. I was looking for a dealership to replace the one I normally buy cars from which is too far away, as we have 2 possible purchases coming up and Motor City is close to me, but they lost any potential from me for either service or sales, due to Bobbie. You can have amazing staff, which Kim represents but one bad apple kills your reputation. I'm sure it totally amused Bobbie to play with a client like that, but I am a busy professional and I have no time for people like that. More

I now know why dealerships have a bad rep This was my first experience with this dealership and unfortunately I will not be returning and I don't feel confident with purchasing another Chrysle This was my first experience with this dealership and unfortunately I will not be returning and I don't feel confident with purchasing another Chrysler/Dodge product in the future if this is how they treat their customers. First I called in to receive an estimate to get my vehicle serviced. It took a little while however she was able to provide an estimate of under $300. I agreed and set up an appointment. When I arrived for my "appointment", I had to wait for over 30 minutes to talk to the service desk. He then provided me a new total of over $350, and seem uninterested when I advised him about the price discrepancy I received over the phone. Then, when I picked up the vehicle the new total was over 415. To be clear, there were no additions from the initial order over the phone. So from a customers perspective, I'm either getting ripped off or the staff is not properly trained to give accurate estimates. Tip for the managers: The staff (Service Staff, Receptionist, Employees on the showroom floor) were consistently looking at their cell phones which increases wait times and directly impacts the customer experience. The staff seemed more interested in getting back to a text then providing any level of customer service. I hope this constructive feedback serves you well to improve your dealership and to achieve the level of customer service a district manager expects. More

Lack of communication, slow service Waited 40 minutes last month just to drop off my vehicle for service, that's not including the time frame for the inspection. Then it goes back in on Friday for the repair, we show up at 4pm to pick up my vehicle to find out it is not ready, the door is off and they had to order a part and this would not be in until Monday. NO ONE called to let us know, just wasted our time making a trip there. Then I get 2 calls Monday before 12 to say my vehicle is ready and we need the loaner back....not good as some people do have jobs and cannot just walk out of their work because you want it now. NOT happy at all with the level of customer service we got from Motor City. More

I had an appt for 830am, no one helped us till 9am and my car didnt even go on the hoist till 10:17 am!!!! . I was given over n above service from Jeff Roddy in the parts dept again tho. He offered us coffee, talked with us, tried to keep us calm, kept checking on my car and helped with merchandise. If it weren't for him, I would NOT be returning. Your girls at the front desk where I pd were not friendly this time either and usually they are! More
