Good Morning Jason, I am writing you this email to help alleviate the incredible frustration I have been experiencing for the last 2 weeks. On March 10th 2018, I put down a deposit on a lease for a new Dodge Ram Outdoorsman Eco-Diesel. This will be my first experience leasing/owning a NEW vehicle for myself. What a tremendously exciting thought/experience. However the discussions I have had with family members and coworkers about this have gone from excitement to extreme disappointment. It has been 32 days since you collected the deposit and I have not received delivery. Visualise having to spend an entire holiday (Easter) weekend without a means of transportation to help out with family errands; hard to forget. Imagine having to wake a 2 year old at 5:00 am to we make it to work on time. Dropping my son off at daycare for 6:30am, the earliest possible moment they open, knowing full well that he will not be picked up until the day care closes at 6 pm. Trying to explain this situation to my child’s grand parents is honestly very embarrassing. Having to leave work in a cab is also an experience I do not find particularly rewarding. Asking coworkers for rides home is equally not enjoyable. No one I talk to can believe this still ongoing. My son’s birthday is this weekend, I am not looking forward to the prospect of having the same, now awkward conversations about this situation. I believe this is out the control of Motor City Chrysler only so far as the delay in delivery. I welcome any new information that my help me and my family understand this delay. More
