Exceptional service. Our vehicle was very well looked after by the MJ Ford team. The service rep also went beyond by pointing out a problem developing on the hood of our Explorer and immediately made ar after by the MJ Ford team. Although they got me in quickly and fixed what was wrong in a timely fashion what was wrong was a factory recall and I was charged $209.95. When I asked if I should be getting charged for a recall the service manager said no but there was 2 issues. There was absolutely not 2 issues, I am very mechanically capable and had several conversations about what was wrong and what they were doing about it. There was a related issues with the countdown to limp mode not stopping after code was cleared but the code was ABSOLUTELY related to the recall and when NOX sensor was reflashed the code went out. More

They do not stand behind the xxxx they sell. They lied about the comprehensive coverage, its not worth the paper it is written on. Mostly positive but it seemed the skill level and attn to detail was lacking on the part of the mechanic when truck had to go back in after five hrs because of sloppy workmanship. As a professional industrial mechanic myself when i read a report from your mechanic that states he sprayed penetrating oil on a stuck part and “waited” for it to loosen that sets me off. It makes me think either low skill level or im being taken for a ride while the hour meter is running. At the same time i understand u dont want to be rammy and twist something off . Now a dipstick tube with two screws and an oring doesnt seem overly complicated but some how it was installed with out double checking oring before pushing in the port and now having a serious leak on and expensive engine is disappointing to say the least. I know things happen and it might of been an off day but it wasnt a positive first experience at this garage. More
