Even when my husband took his car i because I was a woman he treated me like I was stupid ... woman take your money and go where your appreciated! . Even when my husband took his car in to have service done they told him stuff was wrong with it and it would be over 1000 to fix. . Took it somewhere else and there was absolutely no problems with it other then what he brought it in for.. . Never again. More
I called this morning to see if they could check the brakes on my Mazda CX5 but they were totally booked. In spite of that the friendly young woman in Customer Service said I could bring it in today and brakes on my Mazda CX5 but they were totally booked. In spite of that the friendly young woman in Customer Service said I could bring it in today and Jason would take it out for a trial drive. He did that and to my relief said the brakes were working well - not to worry. There was no charge and I feel much safer driving to North Bay tomorrow. Thank you! More

Buyer beware in buying a used vehicle. My daughter purchased her first vehicle here and has had lots of issues. Have your own mechanic review the car because it will have a safety completed even thoug purchased her first vehicle here and has had lots of issues. Have your own mechanic review the car because it will have a safety completed even though there are issues. We were told Moffatt would cover issues we found in 30 days from the purchase, but they only stood behind some of the issues. The most costly was a sunroof that would not open because the seal was defective. We had to replace whole sunroof and seal at a $900 cost that Moffatt took no responsibility for. They did pay for a wheel bearing, high revving engine that needed a Software update to fix and AWD relay switch. After repairing that, there continued to be a rattle which is a rear suspension link. After letting Moffatt know we have heard nothing back from them. They won’t be getting any future business from this family. More
I bought my CX5 in 2017. The sales process was a great experience. I noticed this service dept. was kind of shady and sketchy the 1st time I came in for an oil change. I noticed the sticker on the windsh experience. I noticed this service dept. was kind of shady and sketchy the 1st time I came in for an oil change. I noticed the sticker on the windshield, and the in dash oil change reminder were set to return at 5000KM even though the owners manual clearly says 8000KMs. I thought seeing how I bought the vehicle lifetime oil change package who am I to care! I went in 5000KMs later for my next oil change This time they knew I had the oil change package and afterwards both sticker and dash indicator were set for 8000KMs as per the manual I guess if you pay cash the oil doesn't last as long The next time I experienced their shady practices, my 3.5 yr old CX5 was dead in the driveway. No power at all in the battery I had it towed into the dealership as it was still under warranty. All they said was the battery was dead an $300 to fix About 6 months later, the exact same issue. The battery was dead again. It was exact and identical to the previous issue I again had it towed in. This time for some reason the very same issue didn't cause the battery to die. I guess batteries that are under replacement warranty don't die as fast and batteries that are not! They recharged the battery...tested all the charging systems but were not intelligent enough to figure out it wasn't a charging issue but a parasitic battery drain issue. A simple google search for cx5 battery drain returns over 100K of pages. The issue is rampant as far back as 2013 model year The power liftgate is draining the battery. Mazda changes it for 2019 and 2020 models only. 1000s of people have the same issue When I asked why the same issue of battery drain happened twice their response was we didn't drive the car enough to keep that batter charged! I promptly dumped that CX5 for a Hyundai Santa Fe More
Was not a bad sales experience when I bought my cx5 in 2017. Dan was a great guy. Very thorough in his job! Everyone at that time would bend over backwards for you. Its too bad he isnt there any longer. T 2017. Dan was a great guy. Very thorough in his job! Everyone at that time would bend over backwards for you. Its too bad he isnt there any longer. They would have had 1 more sale!! His replacement is a total fall down. My CX-5 was at the dealership for service for over 5 days. I asked him to appraise the trade in value and when I came in to the dealership to pick up we could discuss trading in on a CX9. I had to ask him 3 times to do. The only response I got back from him was a number he freely admitted to getting from auto trader $4500 lower than I got at the Hyundai dealer when I traded for a Santa Fe More
