I have an EV. I do not think that the service advisor knows what an EV is. I mentioned regenerative braking. I had to explain to her what that was and how it avoid conventional brake wear. I showed up the dealership to have my wheel re-torqued at 12 noon, and was told to go away and come back half an hour later as it was lunchtime. I am not a happy camper and will be looking elsewhere for my service needs. Another example of their lack of EV knowledge is tire pressure. Mu vehicle has a recommended tire pressure of 262 kpa or close to 38 pounds. The car was returned to me with between 235 and 240 kPa or close to 10 percent low. I had to pump up the tires when I got home to avoid low tire pressure alarms. More
