Six months later we've have a number of problems and the warranty is expired now. The mechanic either had bad vision or they simply didn't want to honour the warranty to do the repairs when we took the car to them. Would not recommend this dealer unless you wish to be ripped off. I can't rate it less than one.. More
High pressure sales and get your money whatever way they can I approached this dealership in the search for a new car and initally found them helpful and eager to find the right car for me. I thought I had found I approached this dealership in the search for a new car and initally found them helpful and eager to find the right car for me. I thought I had found the right car, made a partial payment but within a few days, before I was scheduled to pick up the car, decided the car was not the right one. Once I relayed this to the salesperson, I ended up on the receiving end of high pressure salesmanship. I'd made it very clear I did not intend to go through with the purchase of the car, but was told to think about it a few more days, come in to see them again and they could try to manipulate payments to make it work etc. That may sound like they were just trying to fill my vehicle needs but I felt very pressured by the fast talk and the salesperson would not take no for an answer despite how many times I told him I was not going to buy the car. He also informed me that my deposit would not be refunded. I made a second call 4 days later, after a long weekend, to reiterate that I was not going to buy the car and again received the high pressure approach with him offering me other cars and trying to encourage me to come look at something else, because they really wanted to get me the right car. Again, he said that he didn't want to see me lose my money as 'they' would not give me back my deposit. When I asked why, I was told that money goes towards final preparation of the car for purchase - cleaning and MVI. The car was immaculate at the test drive and I'm positive what little cleaning, mvi and even a full tank of gas would not have totaled the money I paid. When I finally got it across to him that I would not be buying the car, he did say that the money could be put towards a purchase in the future, but by this point I was getting a very bad feeling about dealing with them. I did eventually make a call to the general manager requesting my money be refunded. His final response was that he would not give me my money back because the 'work sheet' I had signed stated the partial payment was non-refundable and that money had been used for preparing the car for purchase. I admittedly did sign the form he referred to but as it stated 'partial payment' and I was no longer purchasing anything, I felt it was reasonable to expect my money back. When I stated this, I was told that I obviously did not value the time of the employees with whom I had dealt, that they had potentially lost revenue because the car was pulled off the lot for 6 days after I had initally agreed to purchase and the new cost of having to reinstitute advertising. The 6 days was complete fabrication as the car was still on the lot a full day after I had initially agreed to purchase, and my call to recind my agreement to buy was 2 1/2 days after that. My understanding of the nature of sales is that not every interaction with a POTENTIAL buyer results in a sale, and I am certain I am not the only person who has ever changed their mind on a purchase. The general manager said he really didn't WANT to keep my money, but then proceeded to clearly state that he was not going to give in to my demand and refund my money. The amount of the partial payment was a significant amount to me, but I'm certain it would not have caused a blip in their bottom line sales figures to return it to me, and by doing the right thing in refunding my money, they would have possibly gained a future buyer. As it stands I will not ever buy a car from them, and neither will anyone else I know. More
Will not Return Took my vehicle here for a headlight bulb replacement last November - no issues and was content to pay just under $50. I returned 6 months later to replace the other bulb and the price had doubled. When I inquired as to why the nearly 100% increase, I was told that the manufacture is using a longer lasting and more expensive bulb. So, when I asked the obvious, that if the first bulb wasn't lasting long enough therefore it must be defective, would they be replacing that one - silence. I am a loyal customer and after being gouged this shamelessly, 3 months later when I did my rotors and brake pads, I found another dealer all over what I expect the dealer pays next to nothing for - a simple bulb. I won't be back. More
Eric Corkum was the most arrogant person I have ever spoke to. When his "Manager" physcially threatoned me, Eric took his side, and told me to shove off.. So much for the customer even being believed! S spoke to. When his "Manager" physcially threatoned me, Eric took his side, and told me to shove off.. So much for the customer even being believed!
