Hasslers! Metro Ford at Port Coquitlam is a bunch of hasslers. I bought a used car(Ford Focus) in Langley that is under transmission repair program. Before I b Metro Ford at Port Coquitlam is a bunch of hasslers. I bought a used car(Ford Focus) in Langley that is under transmission repair program. Before I bought the car, I went with an owner of the vehicle to Dams Ford in Langley to see if it is going to be repaired by them like the owner was claiming. I have been told that it is under program and I could bring the car at anytime before extended warranty expiration. I asked if I could take the car to any ford and have been assured that any ford would fix it for free. I made an appointment for a repair and a gentlemen who checked the vin# said that it would be the last repair and it is free of charge. When I dropped my car, nobody mentioned anything about any charges. So, when I came to pick it up, I have been presented with an invoice for $151.20. I explained that I was not supposed to be charged since it is under program. The mechanic told me that warranty has been already expired and they didn't find anything; therefore, I have to pay for a check up. I told him that in Langley dealership they told me that it is going to be free. He replied: "I don't know what they have told you. You should have went to Langley then" Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my paperwork from Langley dealership because I have been told that it would be free of charge. So, I paid and went home to check and make sure that it is free. I checked papers and it said that warranty expires in August of 2018. I decided to call Langley dealership to check and ask them to send a confirmation that it is really free of charge. They were super helpful and told me that it is FREE and sent me an email with all the details. I went back to Metro Ford and showed them all the paperwork. However, they didn't even want to look at my papers and insisted that Langley dealership mislead me. I insisted on speaking to their manager. I waited for him to show up for at least 20 minutes. Danny-the manager was very rude who accused me of lying. He told me that mechanic advised me of charge and I am just lying. I showed him paperwork from Langley and he said that it is impossible and said let's call them and check. He called and the manager that I talked to was unavailable, so he hanged up and said: "You see" What I had to see I have no clue. He humiliated me for $151.20 like I was a liar trying to get away with the charge. I would not recommend Metro Ford to anyone. They are hasslers with attitude with zero customer service skills! More

Would not recommend this dealership !! Decided to purchase a used 8 year old extremely overpriced Ford Ranger from Metro Ford even though the Auto Trader stated that the truck is overpriced Decided to purchase a used 8 year old extremely overpriced Ford Ranger from Metro Ford even though the Auto Trader stated that the truck is overpriced by $4,939.00 The truck is in decent condition but found an issue with the shifter being quite loose along with numerous scratch marks which is to be expected on a truck of this age even though the ad stated that the truck is in "absolutely immaculate condition". Decided to purchase the truck anyway as it is close to what I previously owned with the condition that the shifter being serviced. As the truck was purchased on Sunday I was asked to return Monday morning to have the work performed entailing for me to make a 65Km round trip. When I arrived at their service department a technician came to look at it and stated that several bushing would have to be replaced entailing 1 hour of shop time. Paul the sales manager was then called where I was told that I would be fully charged for the parts and labour even though a premium price was paid for the vehicle. Also, when you purchase a vehicle there is a full tank of gas provided not leaving with a nearly empty tank that I had to immediately get filled. More

Before this I had transmission problems on my 2 year old Explorer (warranty issue - vehicle would not drive) it took them 3 weeks to fix it !!! I also made the mistake of buy a service plan, what a waste of money. I have had brake issue ( noise and also difficulty slowing down when towing my 19ft boat - well within towing limits) but they refused to repace brake pad as "their are well within specs". So if I get into an accident because of that, it is also well within specs ???? Will try another dealership, but have little hope I get good service from any Ford dealership. More

I shopped around at five other ford dealerships and Kent and Des were by far the most helpful. They gave me a very fair trade for my truck and beat the competition in customer service and price. I will definitely buy my next vehicle from them and refer them to my friends. Nothing could have been improved, they washed the truck and filled up the tank with gas and had it ready it for me in under one hour. They understand that to the businessman time is money and they did not waste my time. They responded immediately to my emails and return my calls. My lariat is amazing More

As someone who used to work at a dealership and seeing what proper customer service should be i would like to take a minute out of my day to thank Tim As someone who used to work at a dealership and seeing what proper customer service should be i would like to take a minute out of my day to thank Tim Ryan for the outstanding service on my vehicle. he handled all of my concerns with ease and reassurance that it will not be only taken care of but taken care of with haste as i was on a time crunch. When Tim called me to pick up my vehicle he told me it would be a little bit of a wait to get it washed and i informed him that i needed the car sooner than later. Tim went out of his way to make sure my car was clean. due to the time crunch Tim cleaned the vehicle himself. i would give this dealership a 10/10 for service. i will definitely be coming back here. thank you Tim for making this experience so wonderful. None of the service reps looked like they enjoyed working there. Metro Ford, on the other hand, have been fantastic. They make you feel welcome and the work done to date on my Escape is wonderful. These guys like their job. Maybe it all stems from upper management but West Coast could learn a lot from this dealership. More
