Bought a new 2025 Lincoln aviator. The unit was brought in from another dealership. The vehicle came damaged (inside and out). If I would have seen the amount of damage to this Lincoln The unit was brought in from another dealership. The vehicle came damaged (inside and out). If I would have seen the amount of damage to this Lincoln prior to being brought in I would have left this vehicle on the lot and continued shopping! In my mind it did feel like a high pressure sale as it was brought in from another dealership. I should have stood up for myself, followed my gut feeling and passed on this Lincoln, expensive lesson learned I guess and that’s on me. I am deeply disappointed in this vehicle and the Merlin Ford Lincoln dealership. More

I am not happy at all with how I’ve been treated after purchasing a brand new vehicle. The all weather mats that I paid for were missing upon delivery of the vehicle. There was also a large scratch on the purchasing a brand new vehicle. The all weather mats that I paid for were missing upon delivery of the vehicle. There was also a large scratch on the center console cover. I messaged both finance and sales about this. I had to order another set of mats from a local Ford dealership, pay for them again, and send an invoice to Merlin. Response time has been extremely slow. I feel brushed off, as I’m having to chase people for answers. No response as to how I’m receiving payment, or what is going to be done about this large scratch. I also discovered that finance made an error in the payment schedule, with first payment coming out on a random Thursday, when I requested Friday. I did not catch this in the final paperwork unfortunately, but that error from finance has now caused extra interest on the payment in order to get back to the payment schedule I had originally requested. I have been patient and given people the benefit of the doubt, however the way I am being brushed off as a nuisance after purchasing a new vehicle, and the lack of urgency to correct mistakes they made, is unacceptable. I would expect more as a customer. Perhaps it is buyer beware of purchasing vehicles online/over phone. More
The only thing that went properly was the negotiation and sale of the vehicle. Extremely poor communication within the business led to us taking the vehicle home before mechanical repairs, undercoating, and sale of the vehicle. I had to inform the dealership that they didn’t complete this work even though we were told it was ready. The used car manager offered us oil changes for our troubles…. I would recommend anyone who doesn’t want to waste their own time due to people being incompetent to look elsewhere. The Go Auto purchase of Merlin Ford has ruined this dealership in my opinion. More
