On one of the colder days this year, jan 22 2025, My GLC300 2023 battery failed and left me stranded more than an hour while I waited for a boost. I got the car in the Durham location mid Feb for examination. Unfortunately, even though the battery had failed and I get random battery warnings on the dash, service claimed all tests are clear and battery is fine!?!? Neither Mercedes durham nor the online customer service had an explanation as to why the battery failed. I was told in a very totalitarian way by multiple customer service agents that “our decision is final” and I should drive around town to other dealers to get a 2nd opinion. Very poor service and even poorer outcome. I am forced to accept a battery that failed on a cold day, when car batteries are crucial in our cold climate. I am not sure why the durham dealership and customer service agents cheapened out refusing to replace a failed battery under warranty. Over such an inexpensive issues but crucial component, it seemed like everyone at Mercedes was on high alert NOT to help. Totally Lost my confidence in the brand. More
Durham Mercedes are my go to dealership for all my 2019 GLA45 needs. Yes MB servicing isn’t cheap but your guaranteed good parts and service in my experience. Jak Kung Too care of my promptly my last visi GLA45 needs. Yes MB servicing isn’t cheap but your guaranteed good parts and service in my experience. I just want to share my feedback about this dealership in general and specifically service department and specifically a gentleman by the name of Harry . This is one of the best dealership that I have ever general and specifically service department and specifically a gentleman by the name of Harry . This is one of the best dealership that I have ever deal with , and this is coming from a person with 7 cars and different brands. Very friendly environment and very friendly and nice people, from general manager Ivan to best sales person in my opinion Behrooz and the best service advisor which this review is focus on Harry Bhelay. Harry goes always and always above and beyond to help you with any concern about your car and service . With the busy schedule of service department, he always will try to find the best schedule to be match with my time , very knowledgeable and and also very in bias advise about what is the best for customer. His customer service ability is perfect and very polite and never will be upset even we as customer might be frustrated. He even arranged with one of the technicians to come to my work to reset something in my car due to not be able to make the car in the dealership before closing . I had A+ experience every single time that I need service for one of my four Mercedes . I am dealing with Harry all the way back to 10-12 years ago if my memory helps and it never happened anything than best service ever. Thank you Harry and thank you Mercedes whitby team More
