It's disappointing to see such questionable billing practices overshadow what initially seemed like good service. More
Brought my car in because the ESL failed. They said the part would take 2-3 weeks to come in. Started calling for an update towards week 3 and kept getting told someone would call me back. Eventually I got told the part is so back ordered, they don’t have an estimate for when it’ll show up. After lots of angry phone calls, I got Mercedes Canada headquarters to admit people have been waiting for this part for over 8 months. I understand back orders, covid, geopolitical conflicts impact shipping times, but it’s called expectation management. You KNEW when I brought it in that this issue existed. You KNEW I wouldn’t get my car back in 3 weeks. Don’t hide behind some policy that says you have to quote 3 weeks and you know people have been waiting almost a YEAR. You LIED. Every step was a lie, you knew it, and don’t want to admit it. Don’t buy a Benz from this dealership. They’ll only screw you over. More
Complained about a leaky coolant hose and even took a picture for a year was told that was completely normal. FINALLY HAD IT REPAIRED RECENT SERVICE. I did have a re occurring check engine light when I asked if my repairs were related to my coolant hose and air intake hose that was replaced was told yes that was why I had check engine light on . I didn’t even make 10 minutes down the road to have light come on again , I returned making the hour trip back home once again without my car to find our they think it’s related to my emissions repair that was in the recent settlement required for the diesel settlement(which I have yet to see any cheques as of today) Since the parts are coming from Germany I now have no car for up to 10 business days or longer. To top it off not only did they lie about coolant leak being normal My paperwork indicates that check engine was never rectified and they with look into it further in future if problems persist. I was not told this at I picked up my keys and paid my bill. Maybe because I have an older SUV they no longer car about giving basic service. We have purchased 2 G wagons , ml320 and my Gl. Never have I have been so insulted in a dealership that claims luxury service More
I have continued to enjoy great service from Mercedes-Benz London. I drive an older GL-Class which requires attention often. I find that I’m a frequent visitor and the parts have to be imported from Germany. Andrew at the service desk and Markus, the service manager have been of great help. Lately I find Markus is the one booking my vehicle in……appreciated!! Since I told them that I do not wish to trade my vehicle I find that I no longer get suggestions relating to trading. I appreciate the 15% discount that Mercedes-Benz extends to owners who love their older vehicles. I like my vehicle because it is heavy, really great on the highway, great 7 seater size and uses diesel. My friends call it the beast. I’m a proud owner of the beast and I will keep it for many years to come. I thank the auto mechanics at Mercedes-Benz who are able to do diagnostics and identify exactly what is wrong with my vehicle. Then they are able to fix the problem. I plan to keep the beast for as long as the Mercedes-Benz auto mechanics can fix it. I will probably end up being renamed vintage beast owner. Keep being awesome Mercedes-Benz London team👏👍. The call centre had booked me for 9:30 AM to change an airbag recall. Once I arrived Andrew informed me that I had to drop off my vehicle for the day. I live in Hamilton Ontario. I explained to Andrew that my little dog was in my car waiting for me at the Can-Am RV dealership. He made some calls and I was out of the dealership within 45 minutes. I was very impressed that he handled the situation which was the call centre’s fault. Thank you Andrew Kay. PLEASE INFORM CALL CENTRE TO LET CUSTOMERS KNOW THAT VÉHICULES WILL BE DROPPED OFF FOR THE DAY!!! More
