Update* Dealerrater emailed me right away after I posted the review assuring that they might call within two weeks and it has been two weeks. It was stated that they would try to meet my expectations since my previous was not met. I was surprised that still no one from either the dealership or Dealerrater has not yet contacted me to try to fix this experience, giving me the impressions that customers are not valued with these two businesses. Mercedes has just lost a valued customer, and no one will hear good things about Mercedes from me again.

Rylie, Thanks for your review and thank you for your feedback. As per our discussion on Friday, I just wanted to respond and summarise your points/our conversation. Control Arm- It is important to note that both the insurance company and our FSM from MB noted that the control arm broke due to a significant impact and not due to a defect. As mentioned, there was caliper paint on the inside of your wheel and and a stress break on the control arm. This along with the additional significant damage on to your under carriage is why both parties determined the break due to impact and not defect. Contact from our upper management. Again, as discussed, Ed Dehoog has been dealing with you throughout the repair and had provided me with 20+ emails to confirm this (along with additional conversations). Two differing quotes. Again, I feel it is important to highlight that the 2 quotes you received were from that body shop and then by us. When our technician lifted the vehicle, he found more significant damage than the initial body damage repair that the body shop had quoted. As mentioned Friday, we have provided you with both quotes so that you can identify the differences in the quotes and we are being completely transparent. Additional rental costs. As I mentioned to you, if you provide us with the rental car expenses covered by you personally and not covered by your insurance company- we will gladly refund you the difference.
