Received my vehicle after long wait I finally received my GLC300 today, a week short of 6 months after I made the original deposit!! Very frustrating, particularly as I knew EXACTLY wha I finally received my GLC300 today, a week short of 6 months after I made the original deposit!! Very frustrating, particularly as I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, and planned to have the car partway through winter, assuming 3 months to receive my vehicle would be sufficient. Big disappointment! The delay, however, was not due to the dealership, but rather that my car was held back for emissions testing in Germany, courtesy to Regulatory bodies and the friendly folk at VolksWagen. As we came "down the line" for needing a vehicle, and it became apparent that my car will not be here in time, I had a very good discussion with both the sales person helping me (Mike), as well as Gordie, the President, regarding my disappointment and missed expectations. I have to say that Heritage Valley really responded in helping me out by providing me with alternative transport until my vehicle was delivered. When my vehicle was delivered, I was out of country. Mike was good enough to take some photographs of the vehicle and sent them to me. On our return to Canada, I got the vehicle exactly as it was promised with "all the extras" agreed to. In short, yes, the purchase did not go through as smoothly as I would have liked, but Heritage Valley did what they could do (have control over) to make this a pleasant experience under the circumstances. I will have no problem in recommending this dealership to others. More
