I bought my car about three months ago, and the trunk floor collapsed. Unfortunately, neither the Mercedes warranty nor the extended warranty I purchased covers this issue. The cardboard piece that serves as the flooring for the trunk costs $700 to replace. I have never experienced this problem with any of my previous cars. How is this not a manufacturer’s issue? I would like an explanation of how this could happen unless it is due to poor design or if the trunk was damaged before I purchased the car. Either way, I believe that the dealer or Mercedes-Benz should take responsibility for this situation. This is how you lose the trust of your customers. More
