Last winter I traded an E300 for a pre owned GLS. I bought and installed winter tires right away. The car was supposed to be inspected and approved (or at least that what they said) ; however it turn I bought and installed winter tires right away. The car was supposed to be inspected and approved (or at least that what they said) ; however it turned out to have unmatching tires. Two summer and two all season, which Costco rejected to re-install when the winter season was over. They said 4x4 cars must have 4 matching tires. For us, the 4 tires were of "continental brand" and looked the same Now we have to purchase 4 similar tires which will at least cost 2k not to mention GST and installation fees. Worst customer service ever. Went to the service department with a key issue. Payed almost $500.00for the key. I have 3 Benz and I never experienced such an experience. Some one called my daughter and told her, tell your dad we do not care about you calling Benz Canada and still we will do nothing about your key. Amazing customer service . More

Bought a New GLB 250 last summer. Has been having electrical issues since 2000 km. The dealership has taken no responsibility for this at all not has mercedes Canada. It has been in for Service 13 times in a little over a year. Every time i have called sales my concerns have been completely dismissed. It broke down on my summer trip and I had to rent a car to complete my trip with my 6 kids in the car and had yo be towed. It has backed itself up when no one is in it, not started, malfunctioned do wipers go crazy, turn signals don't work etc. My vehicle was on the garage more than so had it from July-september. I was told i would be reimbursed and never have been. Sales and mercedes' canada have no regard for their customers!! They treat you as less than human! Worst vehicle, company and dealership i have ever dealt with in my entire life. Most recently my heating does not work. I was told it is normal to freeze on your own vehicle in winter it's just how the system works! I can't drive my kids in it because it's cold and they are scared to ride in it due to frequent break downs! Call me crazy but i expected more from a 72,000 luxury vehicle. Would prefer my old dodge van! I was offered a buy back after a year and a half if i want to take a 29,000 dollar loss!! Sad im considering it just to get out of this lemon! 1 star is to many stars for Mercedes Benz Downtown. I am saddened to write this review but I recommend to RUN not walk away from this dealership. I bought my $110,000 dream car here and the entire experience was a nightmare. I understand COVID resulted in delays and I was ok with this but once my dealer quit, I not only was treated with disregard but UTTER disrespect. My car battery failed within the first few months of owning it and not only was I treated like this was a non issue but given a loaner car worth 1/10th the price of my car and not given an ETA. Low and behold one month later the car was fixed (faster than expected, I admit). No compensation was made, no apology... nothing.... I was offered to have my tires changed, which I was happily accepted. However, the morning of pickup I was sent a $200 bill.... Maybe I am wrong here but I feel the least Mercedes could have done (for me being patient for a month) is change my ties (that they called and offered to do) at no charge. I called early to discuss with management (no one available but the receptionist offered to have the GM call me), however, no one returned my call. So after 3 hours I called to talk to the GM...again. NOW this is the MAJOR issue I had... Justin the GM of Mercedes Benz, got on the phone and had the audacity to say... word for word.... "you pulled me out of a meeting for this".... I own a business myself, that is customer service based (and we sell items a lot less expensive than this) and can NOT fathom saying this to a customer, ANY customer.... Yet alone one who paid over $100k AND had a faulty car sold to them....I was also left to wonder if I were a man, would he have had the nerve to say this to me????? I am literally disgusted with my experience at Mercedes, with Justin and his team. I will never be returning and sadly have a bad taste in my mouth, over a brand that was truly one I admired and dreamed of owning all my life. Be careful when buying any demo or used cars from them especially if you do not live in Calgary. Their customer service is beyond lackluster towards those not currently residing within the city. I paid $41,282 to buy a 2020 BENZ GlA 250 demo car from them on July 7th 2020 and I live in Toronto. Firstly they told me the car would be delivered to a Mercedes(MB) dealership near my home however my car was actually delivered to a random parking lot over 50 KM from my house. When I went there to pick up my car, I found many scuffs and scratches on the car’s body and a lot of dirty brake dust in all four rims. I contacted sales immediately on the same day and he told me I can claim a reimbursement of my vehicle from the vehicle relocation company. Then I tried to claim it from a vehicle relocation company and received their inspection report with signatures from MB staff in MB Calgary stating that they too have noticed these problems when checking over my car. That means MB Calgary knew the condition of the vehicle was not up to standards yet still delivered it to me as a new(demo) car. From my understanding, a demo car should be like a new car and at least the car’s body should appear to be like a new car. My insurance company checked this car’s record and told me this car is a demo car and charged me the rate as a new car. However, when I contacted MB Calgary to help me fix my car, they have done nothing to help me. I have both called and emailed Vehicle inspection report to their customer experience manager and he told me he cannot help and instead redirected me to poo sales. Then I called sales again for help and the department began ignoring my phone number. It looks like they have no customer service after they sold the car to me. The overall experience feels very similar to a scam. It is clear with the reports sent to me that they were aware there were some problems with their car body but they still sent it to me because they think I am out of Calgary and therefore cannot go to them directly. After the payment was given to them, I received no communication with the dealership from that point forward. This situation has left me both angry and in disbelief. I will set up similar reviews on RedFlag and similar websites to show an inspection report from a car relocation company to prove my claim. More
Disappointed in vehicle and poor quality of service Bought the vehicle new from them. I had all required services done by them. Yet the vehicle started leaking oil within the guarantee period. Took it in for repairs and had to pay for repairs because the repairs were done outside service period. Got vehicle back and same oil leak still persisting. Took it back again and told previous part was faulty. Got vehicle back and same oil leak still persisting. Now the check engine light also came on. Took vehicle back and was told there is a new oil leak and repair costs would be in excess of $2,000. I then decided to go somewhere else and I had the vehicle properly repaired. I was advised that the oil leak was probably the same from the start and was misdiagnosed by Mercedes. I was also told that Mercedes damaged the engine support mount bolts as two were stripped and others were loose. I reported this to Mercedes Canada and to Downtown Mercedes and was told they would investigate the matter and send me a report. It is now two months later and nobody has been in touch with me. My further correspondence to Mercedes Canada and to Downtown Mercedes has been ignored. My impression is that Mercedes Downtown is good for an oil change but beyond that their technicians are incompetent. More
